This is not really asking about the game play because there are already huge threads about that part of the game. Although it could be discussed, but I'm mainly asking about costumes, music, stages, animations, special effects.........

-The Krypt (the way it is in MKD)

-Puzzle Kombat
-A BIG cast of character, MK7 could have AALLLL characters (itd be the BEST game ever!)
What did you like but would like to improve on in the next game?
-The combos: they must be HUGE !!
-Konquest must be IMPROVED a lot for MK7
What did you not like and want replaced or removed in the next game?
-Maybe character should have only two styles (1st martial art, 2nd weapon) and instead of having multiple attacks, only two VERY VERY developed styles

What did you like but would like to improve on in the next game?
-Hara-Kiris need to be better.
-Sub-Zero's costume needs a less-Shredder look.
-No distance for Fatalities, those are annoying.
-Characters, but it needs every single character, like Mortal Kombat: Trilogy II or something.
-The Krypt needs less staff pictures and more MK related stuff. I liked the MK:DA krypt better.
-Konquest needs to be a little better, but it's still cool.
What did you not like and want replaced or removed in the next game?
-I didn't like some of the new characters. Pretty lame ones like Dairou, Darrius, Kenshi, Kobra(ESPECIALLY, too Ken off Street-Fighter looking)etc.
-Fatality distances
What did you wish was in MKD that wasn't and you want in MK7?
-Every character ever created in 3-D, Deception style. It'd be hard, but worth it. If not that, at least every ninja making a come back.
-The character named Statik. Nobody really knows about him, but it'd be cool if he was in MK7.
What special moves should certain characters have, how would they look, how many would they have?
-Classic moves were dope. Old school freeze, spear, bycicle kick, etc just upgraded, like MK:D.
-They should each have around 4-5, not necessarily damaging, but cool.. like.. confusing moves, damaging moves, old school moves, etc.
What did you think about the presentation of the game?
-Best MK yet, but it still has it's flaws. Definately tops every other MK game though.

The death traps, two fatalities + hara-kiri, the tag team concept, puzzle kombat!

The boss, the 'dark' feel was attempted but was not 100% effective, the combo breakers, konquest, online is great - but needs to stop cheating / cheese play (dunno how, but I hope something could be done).
What did you not like and want changed for the next game?
The fact that the arenas are set over lots of realms - pick one realm to stage the game, and have ALL the stages there. Less new characters, we don't need 8 new characters every game.
What did you wish was in MKD that wasn't and you want in MK7?
Better hidden mysteries. The classic games were great for hidden goodies, way did that change for MKDA and D? Cybernetic ninjas! Smoke has one outfit of it, but lets get a female cyber ninja sometime ok!
What did you think about the presentation of the game?
I thought it was well done, but seemed like they were pressed for time once again. Stop making deadlines, and just release it when it's perfect! Most of it is very goodsmile

-The graphics in the intro were great along with the fighting that was presented. But I do suggested for MK7 that each character in the game should make a quick cameo.

TANYA - Because she is the best female, people like Kira and Li Mei I don't really care for.
Hara-Kiri - I think its a great idea.
All the classic characters - People like Baraka, Mileena, Jade, Ermac. They just make the game take you back years and its great seeing classic ones in 3D.
Impale moves - Not the ones that take life away from you but maybe as a finishing move (not fatality) cos they just look cool.
What did you like but would like to improve on in the next game?
Combo Breakers - They don't look right some of the time but their a good idea.
Storyline - Yes the storyline is a little repetitive. Worlds in peril, somebody ressurected, realms fight to defeat the boss before the evil ones take over etc. Maybe something a little different would be good. But what could they do??
Hara-Kiri - Less decaptiations next time maybe.
What did you not like and want replaced or removed in the next game?
KENSHI - Too much of an Ermac rip-off. Also a rip-off of Daredevil. He sucks as a character maybe not as much as a fighter but we already have Ermac whose better, why is he still there?
Too many new characters - I think introducing so many new characters because most of them suck. E.g - Dairou, Kobra, Nitara.
Konquest and unlockables - I can't be bothered about this crap. I wanna fight not unlock stuff!!!

KITANA, REPTILE, KUNG LAO, CYRAX
What did you think about the presentation of the game?
The 3D enguine isnt the best hopefully the next MK game will be on the next generation consoles and the graphics will blow us away!!!

- A tag-team mode with tag-team special moves, tag- team throws and tag-team fatalities
- Much better gameplay

- A one-player versus mode (like the one in Super Smash Bros. Melee)

All the diferent modes, exspecialy Konquest, hidden stuff, 3 fighting styles, kick ass intro, 2 Fatality, Harie Kires, and exspecialy DEATH DRAPS!!!

Konquest, not promising SU and not dilivering. I love having so many characters but they should do another Trilige( all charecters)

Kenshi unless its a Trilige The living Forest wasn't very living

Dislike: Nothing. Well, maybe Sonya and Kitana, but are others girls in my heart now.

what did you like and want to be carried over to the next game?
Classic characters, stages, old style costumes and special moves.
The fatalities were pretty good in MKD.
I like how solid the hit's seem= hit reaction animations.

The darker feel to the game
The music was awesome this time.
The costume design for most of the fighters was very good.
The Krypt was good
Death traps were kool
Stage weapons
Multi tired stages
Little details like squashing beetles.

what did you like but would like to improve on in the next game?
The graphics looked good, but after playing DOAU, they look kind of weak. They should do wonders with the graphics on the PS3 and Xbox2 for MK7.
The breaker was a good idea, but wasn't implemented well. I'd like to see a much better counter, parry and reversal system for MK7.
The new throws in MKD were kool. I want to see more throws like this and more realistic throws also. Maybe have throws change to a different animation when near a wall or an obstacle = slam the opponent's face in to a wall.
I like the fancy and elaborate attacks used in MKD. I'd like to see them expand on this = Add more kool looking attacks. Maybe impossible moves like when they use wires in Kung fu movies.
I think some fighters could use some taunts or some kool swaying of the hands animations after a strong attack.
For example Rayden's juggle combo in Jujutsu = 3,4,...,3,4.
when Rayden does the same high kick for the second time, he recovers with a turn around animation instead of the normal putting his leg down.
I want to see more stuff like that, Maybe on the second high kick, he would just hold his leg up like the boss from the movie "Legend of Drunken Master". I love to see those extra animations.
What did you not like and want replaced or removed in the next game?
The fighting engine needs some major improvements in every aspect.
I want more freedom and a lot more options in general.

Again, a really good fighting engine.
What special moves should certain characters have, how would they look, how many would they have?
I would like for special moves to be really integrated in to the fighters martial art. This would mean that they would have a lot of special moves for various situations and set ups.
They could have as many special moves as the developers can think up. Like you have a lot of attacks for the regular martial arts.
Look at Magneto from the capcom games for an example.
I want special moves to be a normal part of combos like in KI2, not just starters and enders.
They don't have to go overboard with this, but just make their powers a bigger part of their martial arts. As if they are a hybrid style, not just like this guy has Karate, then 2 fireballs and a sliding punch.
Special moves could be part of throws and normal attacks. Like Rayden could have static and when he hit's you with a normal attack it takes more damage. Sub zero could freeze you with a reversal.
fireballs should look less generic and more Movie like / epic. Like the special moves in the MKD intro movie.
Special moves should also have better use in 3D space = tracking or throw it a little to the side, the fireball could be wide. Some moves could become unblockable if you charge them.
What did you think about the presentation of the game?
I thought the game was presented very well. The select screens, options screen and all that look awesome. I love the temple in the mode selection screen. The mini games were pretty good, but I think Konquest could have looked better.

I dont like how its hard to get up after getting knocked down. Someone can corner you and alternate between grabbing you and doing an overhead hit. I use this and have people use this on me, but you shouldnt have to guess what to do when you stand up. It doesnt ruin the gameplay but it can be frustrating.
I like everything else. Although, I would fix the online rank. disconnects should count as a loss if it happens in the second or third round. Person with least health gets a loss and person with most health gets a win. make it to where it treats it like if the game had run out of time and the person with most health and two wins gets a win and other gets a loss.
For the rank system i would set it up like this: 5 different classes worst, bad, normal, good, excelent.
if you beat someone that is in the same category or better then you, then your rank goes up. otherwise it stays the same.
so if you are a grand master and you beat a noob then your rank stays the same, but if you're a noob and beat a grand master then you get more points.
I think this way you wouldnt have someone that beats noobs and disconnects ranked in the top 50.
other then that the game is great and i play it online all the time.

the fighting, time for a new system of fighting, like people would use more of what they are known for in the fight for example Scorpion could unleash long range attacks with his spears and maybe even make them poisoned.

Kobra,Dairou,Darrius,Kira,Baraka,Tanya,Bo Rai Cho,Konquest(it was addicting but it was more of "get this and bring it to me" quests if it was like the konquest in MKDA I wouldn't mind)

I know this was an idea of someone else's on the board but they should have a system where if you land hits then a bar fills up and depending on what special move you use the bar would go down. maybe 2 or 3 each.

i like it a lot right now. even though the death/resurrection thing is getting old.

All of these are very good ideas Bleed. I especially like the ones I left here in my post. The taunting moves would be a nice touch to the game indeed. Also, although I am glad they got rid of the power ups, and impales, I wish characters still had certain evasion abilities from DA like Subbys backwards slide, nitara's fly back and Kitana's back handspring. These moves were unique and should have stayed.
Also, the combo system has been improved indeed but it still has a lot of work. I don't think juggles should be breakable for one..... it looks so dumb when you are being juggled and then suddenly are firmly on the ground punching your opponent away from u... more freedom in creating combos and less dial a combos would be good as well.
I am not goign to complain about character amount because having over 20 to master really is enough.... So if you are one of those people who just use Scorpion, why don't u try someone else out ;) The one character problem I have always had with MK is their reliance on having so many new characters per game. I love new characters but sometimes it seems like they are just meeting a quota of 7 or so.... They are put in, and most of them are never seen again in an MK (Stryker, Sheeva, Rain, and everyone from DA so far). The number of characters now is about 50 or so i think, so maybe a few new ones each time will be good.

I love everything about Mk:d but, in Mk7 I would like to see Rayden and Liu Kang come back and a bonus stage "test you might" or something new, and I would really, really love to have cinimatic endings like Doa3, because those are so awesome it makes you want to see them more and more and also add a ending gallery mode.
I like the idea of being able to break a juggle, but not how they did it in MKD.
IMO they can either not have juggle breakers, or if they do put it in, it has to look realistic.
For example, they could have something similar to air control in SC2.
But Maybe you have to tap back, right when you get hit to make you bounce farther away than normal.
This would cause longer juggles to not be able to reach you, but it would also require a bit of skill to use.
Skill idea would be that while you are being juggled, You can only tap Back 1 time per juggle hit, If you tap back more than once before the next hit connects, the move will cancel it self until the next hit connects. At which time you can try again.
Basically, it doesn't do anything for button mashing and rewards timing.
If you mash on 'back" on the D. pad, the move will not work, you have to time it.
Something like this would look more believable and not completely destroy the juggle part of the game.
Of course, the idea above could be changed to work better, like maybe you can only do this against the first 2 hit's of the juggle, he pop up and the first juggle hit.
Another thing could be that if you tap "down" right when the first juggle hit connects, you will not bounce up, instead you will do more like a VF4 style bounce and fall to the ground. Basically, you get heavy.
The same thing would go for Pup up attacks. If you are stuck in an unbreakable combo that you know ends with a pop up hit. If you tap "down" when the pop up hit connects, you will not fly up, instead you would stumble back and fall down.
If you get lucky, you could do this during a single hit pop up attack also.
The idea is similar to the tec. recovery in Tekken tag and T4. where if you tap < or > the second you hit the ground, you will spring back up or roll back.
The same idea goes for the juggle ender just that instead of tapping B or D when you hit the ground, you have to tap it when you get hit.
It would be something to keep people on their toes and it would also help to break the monotony of the typical Pop up followed by a guaranteed juggle combo.

The character Frost.
MK: DA like Konquest( 1 page per character of text explaining how they got to MK7).
Again more meaty endings. Text will do fine. MK: Deception's endings were a bit boring to me.
Training mode( not practice mode) In training you can choose what aspect of the character you would like to master. Example: fighting style 1, style two etc.

Past MK characters should keep and only have 2 special moves . The same with new characters.

Deception has a pretty good presentation. I hope MK7 has something like it.

What did you like and want to be carried over -
1) Puzzle mode.
2) Taking chances with character designs( Subby, MKDA's Kung Lao).
3) Death traps/Stage fatalities.
4) Multi-tier arenas.
What did you like but want improved -
1) Chess mode (should play like chess, not MK).
2) Tag Team characters. A full-on tag mode (like DOA or Tekken Tag) would be better than than one tag character.
3) Konquest. Good idea, but killed by a terrible script, crap dialogue, and repetitive fetch-quests.
4) New characters. The new characters introduced in MKD have some potential , but are pretty much lame and derivitive. Still better than MK4's inductee's though.
5) Online. Must find a way to stop cheaters.
What did you not like and want replaced or removed -
1) Game engine. At first I thought there was room for improvement in the current engine, but it would probably be easier to just make a new one. As it stands now it's too slow, is much too repetitive, and several fighting styles are useless. Plus there's not much room for improvising, you know what moves you should use and damned if you don't. Blah.
2) Onaga. He's a really boring villian. He's essentially Shao Khan with wings.
What did you wish was in MKD that wasn't and you want in MK7 -
1) Create-a-character. We were led to believe early on that Shujinko could be customized to our liking. Look how that one turned out.
2) More fighters. NOT super-unlockables, but just more fighters.
What did you think about the presentation -
MKD was presented fairly well, but missed the mark in a few areas.
pros:
Dark feel, but not as over-the-top as DA.
Revamped characters like Rayden and Sub-Zero are a step-up for the series.
Over the last two games unnecessary fighters are being slowly phased out.
I love the new first-preson bios.
cons:
Liu Kang's return. I've always liked Liu, but his death was such an important factor in DA that it cheapens the story to bring him back.
Onaga as the villian. 2 problems, first is the fact that he just seems tacked on as an afterthought, like they didn't know how to end DA, so they just made something up. Second is that he's supposed to be so powerful that the DA and Rayden couldn't stop him, yet someone like Kobra or Li Mei can. WTF?
I have a couple more, but that will do for now.
haha.... yeah, I posted the same thing about a normal fighter beating Onaga when Quan, Rayden and shang couldn't beat him as a team.
Doesn't make any sense.
I like him though, he's pretty kool just doesn't seem as deep as the others.

Konquest - rather than having a player unlock multiple specials from other characters for the Konquest character additional specials should be able to be unlocked for main fighters in Kombat.
Kombat speed - Not for button mashing masters but to make combos and attacks appear to look more natural.
More defined combinations for multiple characters. Not saying every button needs to go into a combo but rather have multiple start, ending, and fight style changing combinations.
What did you not like and want replaced or removed in the next game?

32+ characters with classic returns rather than numerous new characters. Can't please everyone but 32 characters will please some.
Retro costumes back to the original game the character debut was in.

Never had a problem with the specials excluding that there can be so many for 1 character and just 1 or 2 for another. I'd much rather see an equal amount, or close to equal, just to give people more special options so you aren't bored with the same ones over and over.

I enjoy this game quite a bit. Don't like the random disconnects people do online but oh well. Are there problems with parts of the game, of course all games do. Anough to cry about as in the numerous post no.
