Ok, IF the news about Liu Kang being back in 2 forms (body & spirit) is correct then theoretically he’s taking up 2 spots on the character roster, which could be used for more deserving characters. Some of us are STILL waiting for Kitana, Sonya, Raiden, Quan Chi, Frost, Shang Tsung, Sector etc to be announced while someone most people were glad to see dead and buried is greedily filling 2 slots.

Hopefully its an outfit thing. MK just has too many characters out there to have one take up 2 slots anymore. Eactly how do you fatality a ghost? Guess the same way Scorpions head spouts blood when you chop it off.

For those who want to say Smoke had 2 slots in MKT keep in mind that every character who was in an MK game up to that point appeared in MKT so he wasn't taking up space for missing people.

It had better be an alt costume! If he takes up two slots I'll be really pissed! Far better characters like Raiden and Sonya could take up one of those slots and make better use of it!
