I really hope they improve on the execution of Liu Kang's bike kick this time (assuming he still has it).
In other words, I hope we don't have to charge it up and then only being able to execute it. It makes him temporarily handicapped! Hope they change it to a normal move / button combo.
Characters like Kung Lao's whirlwind kick and Li Mei's dash punch (in MKDA) we akin to Kang's bike kick, and you didn't have to charge any buttons to execute these moves!

I'm sure you wont have to charge the move like in past MK games.I hope he also gets some cooler moves that involve his spirit form.

BTW,I hope he get's his dragon animality in MK:Deception.

Uh, how does it make him handicapped? Charging was what made it decent. You could buffer the BK while you do other actions, hardly a handicap. While charging you could run jab for preasure options or cross up into some canned spam and juggle. You could AA with some pokes, BK, then throw out a finisher. Very effecient and utilitarian.

In the previous MKs (especially the classic ones), the make of the joypads were such that when you charged low kick, some other buttons couldn't be accessed (unless you had really, really long fingers)!
Also, when charging low kick, there were so many things you couldn't do:

- You couldn't foot sweep your opponent or push your opponent away with low kick!

- Apart from that, while charging low kick, you couldn't perform his chain kombo, coz you had to hold down low kick and low kick was a part of his kombo!!! In MK3-Trilogy, his kombo was 'hp, hp, blk, LK, LK, hk, LK'! That made him handicapped!!! And in MK4, though LK was not part of his kombo, you basically need to key in the kombos with your thumb! But wouldn't you need that to charge low kick?

- His bike kick was great both offensively, and defensively.

- Offensively, whenever an opponent was in the air and about to land, executing the bike kick would get them as they were unable to block in the air. But this would only work if you had charged it all along! If you hadn't, then you would have wasted a good opportunity! Now imagine if you could execute the move AT ANY TIME!

- Defensively, if you were stuck in a corner, you could use the bike kick to escape such sticky situations! Again, this assuming you had charged it all along, or known that you'd be backed into a wall before hand, which is great if you were a psychic and could see into the future! And in some joypads, while charging your bike kick, the 'block' button can sometimes be out of your way! Now if you could execute the bike kick AT ANY TIME, then you could whisk your way to freedom more easily! (Would have worked great against a stomping Kintaro in MK2, and a stomping Sheeva in MK3).
So yeah......I think they should change Liu Kang's bike kick move to 'F,F, LK' or something! It's about time. I mean, imagine if you had to charge Scorpion's spear, or Sub Zero's ice shaker! Now imagine how handicapped they would be!
