Alright it's 10:00 and score is 3-6, with Blaze in the lead. Time for the...you know it, ENDING:
Sweat pored on the ground, as Sonya continuously tried to hit Blaze. For each attempted punch with her fists, she had been burnt. Her flesh was burnt, as it was surrounded in ash form. Sonya couldn't even feel her hands anymore, and finally let her hands down. She staggered for a moment, and bowed her head in defeat.
Blaze's right hand flew into the air, a ball of flames swirling around it. Sonya tightened her eyes, as Blaze made his way towards Sonya. Blaze's right arm took a form of a flaming axe as it was raised into the air, above Sonya's head.
"You Sonya Blade of Earth Realm..." Blaze started, as his axe came down. At the last possible moment, the axe took the form of a pocket knife, and merely cut Sonya's arm. Flames from Blaze's hands dripped into the cut, as Sonya regained feeling in her hands. "Have fought well...but you have yet to beat I. When you send someone that can, only they may gain entrance into here."
Sonya nodded, as she turned around. Se held her cut, and had just been happy she was alive. Sonya staggered away, deciding it'd be best if she sent someone else into Mortal Kombat for once.

hey man you gotta give us like 3 days to vote if you want this to get popular...I love this thread but i dont get much of a chance to vote on it so im wondering if you could extend the voting time a little plz...anyways i woulda voted for blaze because think, you fighting freaking lava! how the crap do you beat lava? not only are your hands burning when you hit him but unless he is solid you arent gonna do much damage...and sonya isnt very high in my personal opinion.

Alright folks, sorry for the delay, I don't get home from classes till around 4:30. Anyways, I considered the idea to extend voting time, and so I say: sure, why not? Voting time is now renewed from 5 hours, to 24 hours. That way, I can write the ending, AND make a new poll. Alright, here's today's match:
Battle 3 - Crouching Steel Fist, Hidden Shadow Kick
Raiden, the Thunder God appeared before the good souls of Heaven. Silently, two Shadow Priests walked behind him, as a black portal opened. Previous Kombatants in Heaven looked at the Thunder God, as they walked towards the Shadow Portal. Raiden raised his arms into the air, as a shield of lightning prevented anyone from passing. Raiden yelled in a clear voice, "Only one warrior may pass. Two will be given momentaril Mortality, and the one who loses in Kombat shall not only use their Mortality once again, but they shall go to..."
Raiden raised his arms farther apart, as the walkway of Clouds dissapeared. All that could be seen, were burning flames, and yelling of tortured souls. "Hell."
Many Kombatants backed away, but two stood forward. They were the once-mortals known as Jackson "Jax" Briggs, and Johnny Cage. Both had shown superiority among others, and teamwork. The problem was, one would die, and one would go on. As they spoke, the two were determined to beat the other out, even if it meant sending them to Hell. The faint glow surrounding them dissapeared, as Steel Covers, were reattached to Jax's arms. Johnny Cage got into a fighting stance, as Jax adjusted himself to hiw returned Steel Arms.
"Johnny Cage...Jackson Briggs...Fight!" Raiden announced.

Johnny Cage wins... I can't stand the thought of him going to hell! Hey dude cast your vote too!
