you know macd187 i was thinking about the same damn darn thing. I was like hmmm. maybe if i do this mabye i meant get something special. i tried it then my friend was like come on over so i stopped and never tried it again but i will again tomorrow.

if you do this, keep in mind... and it is a good idea, but make sure you have ALL players and alt costumes unlocked, and do it with the person and the rightful costume that he/she is wearing.
some wear alts, some don't, keep an eye on that

I would say this is a splendid idea if there were actually secret characters in the game. Good call though...one of the best theories i've heard yet, its kinda like how you played as the Meat skin in MK4.

For once someone did not write BS about how that have proof of unlocking something or doctored pictures. Actually, although I'm not really one to care about SU I may go along with this one. I finished it with everyone so this can actually help as sort of a random character select.
Just 1 question though. Have you ever gotten the same character and outfit since you started?
Curious about that part of it. It could have the possibility of going on for quite a long time if you have to continue using them over and over just to get a new 1.

I've been reading the whole 26 pages of this thread and I have a suggestion. I think that the clues are real clues to get the super unlockables. In fact, there is one that I have realized that must be true:
NO PROFILE PUZZLE
I think that this clue is about the supposed mini puzzle on the main menu. It has (for me) nothing to do with Puzzle Kombat. I am talking about the fact that in the main menu, if you have no profile, and highlighting the options that need profile (for exmaple Krypt), if you hit X (in ps2) you can change the first line of the three that appear in the clouds. The other two don ́t know how to change them yet. I think that is a mini puzzle in which you can unlock at least one character or something.
Lets see: The three lines cross the sky and each time they do that there's a moment when a lightning strikes and Onaga appears. I suppose that before that moment, you have to insert some combination of the three rows. I tried putting Fujin and Earthrealm, because in Konquest he says "We will meet in Eartrealm" but in fact Earthrealm doesn't appear in any of the rows.
What do you think of that?
Take notice of other clues that might be conected with this puzzle, like:
STRYKER ON CLOUD ZZ
TWO TIMES REALMS
On the other hand, I'm quite sure this means something, because Boon said in fight night "There are no hidden characters on the main menu" which wanted to point us in this direction. Smart guy telling us no to look there.

i have run across the same player, and costume, and have simply went into practice and come back out to get another person, to go thru with the ones i havent beat it with yet.
