Midway employers spreading rumors on purpose?

Has anyone ever thought of this possibility?

For example in the thread "MK8 MK VS DC" the guy didn't even link us to the original post, and users on MKO couldn't find it themselves.

The guy who posted the damn thread has ZERO visits... who the hell shows up at MKO to post one topic and leave? Somebody who wants to dick with us, that's who.

Maybe the MK Team wants to fill our heads with so much bull shit that when they reveal the real MK8 it will blow us away 10 times more because we're expecting trash from them due to these crazy rumors.

For all we know, the teasers on noob.com were to fuck with us too. Primal Rage? Now DC comics? .... Batman? Superman? Wonderwoman? Flash? I can't see these morons doing fatalities, and they're NOT Kombat worthy material.

wow confused All I can say, is if I see DC vs MK, I quit ... until MK9 or a Shaolin Monks 2 comes around.

Lol na its just some dickweed who wants to mess with us because we are passionate fans of MK and we don't want it to go to the dogs. And yes I agree comic characters should stay out of the MK universe because if it is a crossover game I AM DONE with MK

It's crossed my minds. The romurs, the elaborate false teasers, they weird cryptic messages.


It's a bitt too much, to be merely a coincidence.

I cleary remember noob.com being updated as soon as that false teaser was released.

Hmmmm.... I don't recall the teasers being misleading though, they are the only hints i believe came from midway or boon himself. Now my thoughts are that maybe they aren't trying to burn us so much as they are trying to get one over on EGM/1UP.COM. we all know that they have issues. And this is where 90% of the rumors are originating. As fare as the rage thing on noob.com it's just the project name most likely nothing to do with primal rage.

Lol well i wonder if anyone actually thought about the fact that animalities might make a return since some of those animals were in the animalities.

yeah except there is a big freaken counter there now, and if there is nothing revealed after that, it would be pretty unreal.

Anyway, I'm going with Ecstasy Tuesday's theory. The animals (MK3 Animalities) incline who will be returning. It makes perfect sense. Ant Eater, Noob. Rhino, Kabal. Etc...

Regardless of whos spreading rumors. there remains one fact that midway wants and is getting.

this game is getting loads of attention and anticipation.
