They are both female dancers in the court of Shao Khan. Shang Tsung got drunk one night & mistook Ermac for Mileena. He tatooed him & Quan Chi ridicules him about it to this day.

I don't know what it means yet (I guess we will find out when we play the game ourselves), but Ermac and Mileena are not brother and sister. Mileena was created by Shang Tsung to pose as Kitana and decive her armies (hence: Mortal Kombat Deception) and kill her. Ermac is a lifeforce brought together by the souls of outworld warriors. Shao Kahn had taken possession of these souls and he used Ermac to fight on his side. With Shao Kahn destroyed Ermac was freed and we hear again from him in MKDA. If you play the konquest mode with Kenshi, you will learn that Kenshi learned his teleketic slam move from Ermac.
So Ermac and Mileena can not be brother and sister. About the rest... We'll probably find out when we play MKD.

1.Although created by Shang Tsung, Mileena was raised as Shao Kahn's daughter. whether Biological or not, this makes her Kahn's daughter.

2.Ermac's physical form was created by Shao Kahn. although not a traditional parent, that does make Shao Kahn Ermac's father in a sense.


Thus, Ermac and Mileena are (in a way) siblings. Weird huh?

I would say Shao Kahn is more or so Ermac's creator before anything else. All the souls wanted revenge and what not, but because Shao Kahn had control over the souls, he had control over Ermac and that is all.

Despite the fact that they were old souls, Ermac was a new physical entity that Shao Kahn created. Now if you had to name someone the father of Ermac who would it be? Yup, Shao Kahn.

I was under the impression that Ermac pretty much made himself. Shao Kahn just controlled him, since Shao Kahn at that moment had control over all the souls. If that's correct, then Ermac is his own Father.

We may find out when the game comes out.

Perhaps the mark Mileena and Ermac share is Shao Kahn's? Both Mileena and Ermac were slaves under Shao Kahn's power and both may have been branded by him.

I could picture both of them breaking free from Shao Kahn in their own seperate way. I think that if Shao Kahn is not dead that he may still have control over Mileena and Ermac even if those two characters are not loyal to him because he is their creator.
