1. My favorite game was, and still is, Mortal Kombat: Deception. While Soul Calibur III has had more playtime nowadays, I can't ignore Deception. The arenas and music looked really dark and scary, the characters were awesome, and the biographies and endings were beautiful.

2. My favorite character, up until MKD, was Scorpion. I always liked that revenge and tragic theme to him when I was younger, but when I grew older and returned to the franchise, Sub-Zero started beating out Scorpion. Sub-Zero looks great with his Cryomancer armor, his storyline is great, and I love his personality (or what I imagine it to be, lone wolf). Ultimately though, I like him the most for his unimaginable capacity for forgiveness and mercy, in the case of Frost.

3. I enjoy the Mortal Kombat series because the story is the most innovative and absorbing I've ever seen in a fighting game. I'm not an expert at fighting games, but I've picked up MK and learned everything in a few days; playing at a high level is really fun (until you get smacked around online ).

1.MKDA- its got that greatest fighting system imo of all the 3d games, great story,cool fatalities, cool new characters, best cast of characters 3d wise, and good extras.

1. MKD. Love the updated MK3 characters, love the updated familiar arenas now in 3D, love Havik, Hotaru, Darrious, Kobra, Onaga and Noob-Smoke alliance. Most gory fatalities since mk2 imo. Hara kiris. Konquest. Puzzle kombat.

3. I love MK for the intense violence and gore!!! well, that's just me being honest about myself. I do love the fantasy story and attention to detail in all the realms but for me it all comes down to sub zero's first fatality in mk1... the first time i saw sonya's spine drip with blood... hey, it's only pretend, right?

1) Without a doubt - Mortal Kombat 2. It retained the amazing storyling, which later deminished after MK 3. It still had the oldschool oriental feel to it. All the characters were AWESOME. It introduced things that were groundbreaking.

2) Sub-Zero always has and always will be my favorite character. His moves are just too awesome, and his personality is great.

3) I love Mortal Kombat because it is the only fighting game that had a great story (although its really lost its luster recently). It also introduced more original things than any other fighting game (fatalities, unlockables, easter eggs, personality, interesting specials.) It was also the only fighting game with interesting characters.

Raiden (light not dark). To me was the easiest character to use and his story was interesting. I became an even greater fan of the thunder god after Lambert's portrayal of him in the first movie even though my favorite 'Rayden' is the Jeffery Meek's version.

Loved the story and was not one of those cartoony/anime ripoff fighers I see so much of. Although I will admit the more recent MK games (MK: D and MK:A) has left me wondering if Midway is going in the wrong direction. At least I still have the classics to play/watch.

I have enjoyed each one of the games as they came out I am really digging Armageddon though now that I have a Chance to use every fighter

Noob Saibot, Scorpion, Shinnok, Chameleon because regardless of whoever I have tried using I always end up using one of these four in the end ( there are a few other Favorites besides these four)

Because of what you can do withteh Game it really raised the bar in terms of aFighting game especially now that it incorperated Martial Styles and Disciplines it made it that much better

I'd have to say either Deception or Armaggedon. Armaggedon has the most characters, Kreate-a-Kharacter, the best Konquest (In my opinion...), and what I think is the best engine for the one-on-one fights. Though Deception's main play and Konquest don't appeal to me as much as they used to, they're still very amusing and the main play has the best arenas in the history of the series (Especially Dark Prison and this one mine level that I can't remember the name of.). Also, unlike Armaggedon, it has more you can do outside of the main play and Konquest which I think is very good because I like not to rush the games I play and keep them useful as long as I can (At the moment, I'm still not done Armaggedon.) so having some Chess Kombat or Puzzle to do on the side gives me more play time in individual sit-downs with the game.

For as long as I can remember, (Robot) Smoke has always been my favorite. I fell in love with him via his appearance in the second movie. His look, his fight, his missiles, his ability to turn into his namesake, every thing about him appealed to me. I grew to like him even more once I found out who he was in the games because of his sympathetic storyline and even kooler look than what he had in the movie (Especially with his new robotic look.). Reptile is my second favorite because I am very fond of...well, reptiles (Always have been and even more now than ever because I have an iguanna.). I especially like his Deadly Alliance storyline because it makes him into a down-trodden, simple-minded, obedient creature. I love the sorrow he goes through after having failed Shao Kahn and how he was basically his lapdog (It makes him sympathetic, it gives him a little dignity believe it or not as it shows that he's loyal and not a back-stabbing jerk like most of the MK roster, and anyone who serves Shao Kahn is officially kool.). Scorpion komes in at number three for me because he has a kool look like the last two (Not as kool mind you...) I love how he's so aggressive and brutal (See more about this in #3.). The hellspawn spectre thing is absolutely awesome, especially since he doesn't pick fights with everyone (Excluding the dubious Shaolin Monks.). He's all business and only goes after his target. I don't like jerks and thankfully, if you don't mess with Scorpion, he won't mess with you. Also, he's a loose cannon and I like how you don't want to be around him when he goes off.

Like anything I'm into, I love MK for its storyline and kharacters (Even though I hate over half of them.). I get into anything with fights in it and MK has some of the best fights ever. I also adore the dark mood and the occasional jokes they throw in are pretty funny. Gameplay-wise, MK has to be the best series I've ever played with Tekken at number two but nowhere near MK. I like how MK doesn't have some sort of complicated system for how you do moves. You just press back forward circle and you do something. Not like with Capcom games in which you have to throw you joystick all around the room and press some combination of buttons to do a simple fireball. MK's easy to get into, quick-pased, and unbelievably violent. I don't like real-life violence but simulated is always awesome...especially the way MK does it. I love how blood shoots all over the place and people die in the most imaginative ways I've ever seen. In addition to being awesome, the series' sense of violence is also very fitting for a fighting game genre. I like being able to kill my opponent for real, not watching get "KO'd" and, at best, being able to throw in a crappy little kick afterwards. He....Netherrealm no! I wanna rip his head off, juggle it around a bit, and then smash it on the floor!

ill always love mk1. got it and never stopped playing it, i was 5 years old and it got me hooked forever. i loved that game.

1. Mortal Kombat 3, for the great combo system, great new characters, and rich storyline.

2. Sindel because her authority, majesticness, power, fighting style, story, and of course, her look.

3. I don't love the MK games, compared to other fighting games, MK is a joke.
