PS3 will not be out till late 2006 early 2007 latest x-box is shooting for a late 2005 early 2006 so whats coming out in late 2006 in PS3 is not out?
I don't think that MK 7 is going to be a 1st generation title in terms of it won't be released the same year as next gen consoles come out. I mean MK: DA was a 2nd generation game when it comes to current consoles. I won't expect anything on MK7 till 2007, we will be even lucker if they even show it off E3 06. O yeah MK7 coming to Xbox 2 and PS3 is a given since the sales of 3rd party games on the system. At the same time Nintendo's next system might have a chance on getting it as well. Again all depends on sales of 3rd party games on the system.

As I said in some thread before, Midway is never gonna loose their chance to get more money. They'll add up to 5new characters (including Goro and Shao Kahn) and release it on PS2 as somekinda MK-Platinum in 2006. That's what I think shall happen.
