Did anyone notice that a few characters were in there alternate costumes in the MK:A opening sequence?

Some of the ones I saw were:

1. Reptile (Was in primary from MK:DA and alternate from MK:A)
2. Scorpion (Was in his primary from MK:D, and alternate from MK:A)
3. Sub-Zero (See Scorpion)
4. Shinnok (Was in MK:A alternate)

I wonder why that is...

-Sub-Zero (Still missing his unmasked costume from MK:DA, but this costume I feel is one of his better ones as well.)
-Stryker (AKA: Fighting injustice and looking great at the same time.)
-Scorpion (I'm a bit surprised they didn't keep this as his primary costume for MK:A.)
-Liu Kang (The whole "KANG EAT BRAINS!!!" deal really affected how Kang looked in both Deception and Armageddon. It's nice to know that Midway kept his alternate "healthy human" look from Deception.)

I must agree that smoke can't get more Cyborg then this.

Kung Lao (I like them both a lot though)
Baraka (another good nod to MK2)

but the best costume in game imo Ermacs 2nd and scorpions samurai costume
