Will they release a later version of MK: Armageddon on the GameCube like they did with MK: Deception?

Doubt it. By the time time of it release all of the Next Gen Consoles will be released. by that time it would be pointless. The only reason why MKA is being released for XBOX and PS2 enstead of the 360 ib because PS3 wont be out until the end of the year and Midway alway wants the MK titles out by fall of every year.

doubtful. im a cube fan myself... got MKDA for the cube, then had to buy a ps2 to get MKD (then low and behold, a cube version came out later).
Tho I doubt it this time around... especially since the cube, again, lacks online play and how much stuff will be crammed into this game (60 characters, larger konquest, create-a-character... seems massive).

I would find it less likely that MK:A will get a GC realese after seeing the video on this site of the E3 build of MK:A being deleted off an X-Box.
The total size of the E3 build on the HDD was 1.27 GB
Breaking down with what the build contained:
15 Characters
At least 65% of KAK mode
15-30 mins worth of Konquest mode
10 Arenas
Now here is the list with what is expected in the full game
60 characters at least
Full KAK mode
6 Hours worth of Konquest mode
20 Arenas
I reckon that the MK team will be using duel layered DVD's to fit everything on a disc, if not using compression to fit on a standerd DVD.
If that is the case, it does not bode well for GC owners wanting the game on that system. Maximum capacity on a GC disc even after compression is only 3 GB so the only way MK:A would be on GC is if some features or characters are dropped in order to fit the game onto disc. Of course if this happend then no one really wouldn't buy it when they could get everything with the PS2 or X-Box version.
Other alternative would be that they do a Resi 4 and split the game over two discs. Say have Konquest on one disc and the core game on another. Means the GC game would get everything, but at this stage of the console's life, I doubt many companies are going to bother making that sort of effort for the machine.
