I could not take anymore of that lag advantage crap that was going on. You saw and hopefully know that while I was using Night Wolf... and doing 2,3 over... I was eating major 1,1,3,CS.

And then your spamming 1,1,CS with Mavado like it was candy.... there was one game where I was able to throw you right after you constantly did that though surprisingly.

Fun stuff none the less. I dont mean to complain.... but it just hit me in wrong direction on a very shitty night.

My memory card is fucked up now... and anytime I load the game, get online, and play a game.... the autosave fucks up... and doesnt save or load anything.

So I didnt even have the stages that have no background animations to reduce lag. I was like : " OH.. shit"

As for my Sarrena... to make her not move while throwing knives.... just gotta have your weapon out... and make sure that you dont mash Forward on the controller much. But yeah... lag has a slight impact on throwing knives

Other than that.... I personally like to be in the first stance. Moving close while throwing knives just seems better to me.

lag advantage crap??? ill cap next time and you'll see who has lag advantage. 2,3 w/ NW isnt safe, but you were blocking each time after you did it but once my hits HIT.

1,1,CS w/ mavado can be spammed. thats why he's become my top character. you have to be upclose to him to actually counter attack it.

then theres the not moving Sareena throwing Knifes. unless Check makes a vid and shows me that its possible to throw 10000000 knifes a sec and not move an inch im gonna say thats MAJOR LAG ADVANTAGE. then blocking after FF,1 w/ her offline its not that safe at all, Mavados 1,1,cs should counter it and yet you were blocking the hits. look at the vids of me vs bone, his sareena, and he's throwing tons of knifes, you'll see him creep closer and closer 2 me. watch the vid of me vs dave you'll see his sareena creep closer and closer.

you know me ill say yep i had lag advantage if i know i had it, tonight you clearly had it.

Dan... anytime I used 2,3... the recovery delayed was so bad, I could not even escape after using it. It was a free 1,1,3, FT everytime I did that. I never held block... I tried jumping backwards.

And Night Wolfs 2,3 in weapon is often safe. Unless the connection is good... or other wise, lag advantage.

online? no, first of all, online is SLOW and the knives dont come out as fast online, at least mine dont.i can throw one knife then the person is right up in my face. lag? i dont know, i do know offline you can spam knives all day though.

offline you can do 5 knives 21cs for 42% ( the last hit in b3 misses ) in order to do this, you have to throw the knives as fast as you can and in order to do that you cant waste frames "creeping in" after each one, of course you have to parry cancel the 21cs, but thats a whole different skill.

^^ you also have to be in BA SHAN FAN when you throw the knives for this combo.

ill upload a video of the 42% tommorow after i get my sheev 115% again. ( did it and the tape wasnt on ) but thats only 5 knives

besides i really dont see the benefit of either a) throwing 100 knives in a row, thats extremly predictable and a easy jump in ss mixup or b) throwing the knives and not moving in, thats not gonna help for spacing as well as comboing off the knives, you NEVER want to stand in the same spot for too long.

but dave did use to do it in weapon stance, i dunno, when i play sareena i just use her fighting styles, i hate specials ; ( they turn characters into jokes,like tanya for instance.

last time we played i think there was like 5 games in a row the connection was good for me, how do i know? wellfirst off i remember from mkd the 10-2 series but because i won every game and i could see everything you were doing, it wasnt fair, and i didnt enjoy the wins at all. its always been like this with you and me, thats why you will always have one of the top 3 connections WHEN ITS GOOD. when its not man, what can i say, i just play and wait for the next match and hope its better and hope you recognized that i was severly struggling because of it.

did you see when i was doing 33 with the camera how it would turn to the side every time i would jump after every 33 and would go around in circles? its like when you combo and the camera turns to the side during the juggle, same thing. the best connection we had was the first time we played.

i dont know what to say, but we had a fun time last time we played. and all thats matters.

try not to complain about lag when you play guys, it only starts unneccessary arguments. i remember there were times when vlads b3 in mi zong would hit me from f3 range, and i would flip out on him after we played and totally ignored the fact we had good games and he is my good friend.

just play, say good games, and have a good time, and dont care who wins, mka is not that important espicially online play.

just wanna say ggs to gannon, majora, daghost9, Ghastly, and many others. also i want to say if you have fought a character named hazen and the connection got lost and/or got pulled on, ive been having power outages and i had to get my ps2 fixed, i dont pull, i dont exactly have the best record, 600 somthing wins with 300 somthing losses, decent but not the best, but i dont pull. not on purpose, so srry to the people that that happend to.

Check ~ Dont get me started buddy, lets just say your doing 70%+ combos on me. your about to A/C and 33 W/ no issues. you have ZERO REASON TO COMPLAIN ABOUT LAG TO ME. on the other hand me playing you i cant even attempt to do the A/C because my characters 1,1,2 Comes out so slow by the time im done w/ the 2 your on the ground most of the time. or if i want the 2nd hits to hit i have to tap 111 real quick even then it wont hit. i cant 1,1,2,1,1,3cs. i tried and tried and tried and failed each time. and i dont know what 70% combos you are talking about, but i only used 1 set of 33's 95% of the time, 2/3 times i did something after it was 1) reiko 52% which you said afterwards you loved and 2) with reptile twice both were for the end of rounds. and did 45% and 48%


the FIRST time we played i was able to ac you, and vice versa, even though you said afterwards you couldnt, i never said anything, but gimme a break a man, did you not see when i would jump up for the second ac, the first hit would connect and the second would miss because you werent high enough?

Check ~ im not figitng w/ ya. i like playing ya because its all for fun. its great seeing all the crazy combos you do. thats just my point though your able to do your combos. if your saying your not able to fine, i guess i never seen them done to me O_o even though i remember and my buddy watching me playing you remember you doing all kinds of 50%-70% combos to me often.

my connection has stayed the same from the last 3 months of MKD to MKA still now. its a 9MB download 1MB upload. i have a 7 MB connection w/ a chicago server. and i believe a 700 kb upload w/ the chicago server. i pay the extra cash to have this good connection.

your connection seems to be weaker from MKD to MKA. did you change it?

all im saying is you shouldnt be bitching about lag when we play. ist something we all deal w/. when i cap our fights you'll see my characters getting hit in the air when your not even touching me. i just figured on your screen im closer to you.

the kabal mavado thing. umm i think its because u duck block weird. you keep trying to do your low block mids or something. you do this weird low blocking thing . try just Blocking normal just hold the block button and press down. instead of Down back or what ever you do.

At times... we usually have a stable 4 star connection. Does it act like it ? Sometimes.

I've seen gnarly ass lag advantage crap to the max before.

Shit... I remember fighting TRB one time.. I got Scorp... he got Noob. Anytime I did F+1 and it was blocked... I ate a 2,4 ! And it did not work vice versa either.. he could spam 2,4 on me... rendering it unpunishable.

This situation hits every once in the blue moon with Bone.. except his Sarrena's FF+1 is unpunishable... but mine are.

Same goes for 2 in weapon.

But for the most part... I enjoy fighting Bone. Its usually is a stable connection. But I've seen this happen before.

the way my room is set up... my tv is NEXT to my bed and not in front of it, and its like im hanging off my bed when i play so its much harder, this has seriously hurt my defense ABSOLUTLY. and its been like this for 4 or 5 months, im trying to get someone in here to fix the floor, the wood is all rotted from the sprinklers hitting it. and i have a huge hole in my floor ; (

since u asked, im not sure how aware you are of this, but wow! it has been a long time coming since someone has finally said something to me other then dave.

YES!!! but heres the thing.. i DIDNT GET A NEW CONNECTION!!!!! but hell yes it is weaker!!

it goes back to mkd when my connection just one died!!! for no reason, i was able to log on the server pick my char but once the match started it would drop.

so i called and got it fixed, the reason i dont remember but what they outside the house put a splitter on the line, and thats how they got it to work.

imo, they did exactly what said they did, they SPLIT my connection in half!!!!

how do i know this?

well because when i finally went back online to mkd EVERYONE HAD HALF THE STARS THEY USED TO!!!!!!!!! and to this day it remains the same!!! you know how many stars i have with someone in Florida ( where i live ) TWO STARS!!!!!!!!!! isnt that awful?

im calling about a new modem tommorow because thats all i can think of doing since i wont be getting cable till i move ; ( i was gonna order it like 6 months ago but i kept thinking i was gonna get cable.

the new modem wont cost me anything, but i dont think its gonna help anything... its something they did outside with the line... now i might get satellite ; / so i dont know, ill get the modem anyway and see what happens

maybe you even remember when we would play mk2 on mame, my ping was 40 ms, then after my conn died, it was like 79 ms, do you remember? i know we played on it, and im sure i mentioned it ( we gotta play some mk2 again, i remember we were talking about how we couldnt wait for mka to come out )

all my tests continue to run the same as they before, but the proof is with the stars and the ping on mame like i just mentioned. when i told them on the phone they had no idea wtf i was talking about with stars and online gaming.

its bellsouth... a phone company... they do not offer any higher speeds in my area, but if u go to their site, you will see i have the one called DSL ULTRA, then it will show the speeds im at and what its good for

THEN you will see the next available connection. ( which isnt available where i live ) and the upload is like 430 or something and its says "PERFECT FOR ONLINE GAMING"

at least i know what i need to play this game.ive always been happy with my conn, and i still stand by my word that im always ( not "always") on the receiving end of the lag, but whatever i dont care.
