Well so far, I have no doubt that MK Deception will revolutionize the fighting genre and show Tekken and Soul Calibre how the big boys do it.

MK is like the Madonna of the fighting game genre and Tekken is Britney Spears. =P

mcdonna is a hasbeen tho and is angry and rude, but i would say mk is hollywood, and tekken is the british film industy, no offense.

lol. Interesting comparison Daemos. But anyway, I do beleive that if MKD is dont right, it will over shadow Tekken, SC2, and VF4. All Boon has to do is perfect the fighting system. Lets hope he can do it.

If MK:D is successful, maybe we will get the MK3 Moive we have been desperatly waiting for.

Speak for yourself. Apart from the amazing soundtrack the last two movies sucked ass (and I mean that in a bad way). Though I would still watch the MK3 movie just like I still watched that crap MK Conquest tv series.

Uh...I hardly think MKD falls short of disappointment, considering the game is not out yet, and generally speaking, you have to play a game before you can determine whether or not its disappointing...but that's just me..... Of course i'm not saying it will be a disappointment, because if they do it right, it WILL kick ass

umm.........i was talking about the return of classic characters and my excitement, so it does fall short of disappointment

This game will probably not dissapoint me at all. I'm happy with everything so far.

You cant even put mortal kombat in the same place as soul calibur or tekken just because mortal kombat is more in your face action with a smaller set of moves in tekken and soul calibur there is a huge move set and its a little slower action cause there are so many different moves to try to catch your apponent off gaurd with mk:da it was getting closer to tekken and soul calibur but it wasnt the same
Dont get me wrong i love all three of these games but the reason they are so sucsessful is becuase they arent copies of each other

and the new one can only get better have some faith

Id rather wait till the game is actually out before I make a judgment on it. But so far I have little critisism of we have been fed.

I hope that MKD will be in the same league as T4 and SC2. But if Boon won't change combo system there is no hope that MK will become no.1 fighter again ( well, it never was no. 1, because of the SF2 )

well if the dragon king looks anything like the pic some cool person found on google,(read the dragon king post, to see it)then yes there will be no disappointment, the fact that every MK fighter in history will be in konquest and it has 6 realms, and alot of final secrets, plus they will not be spirits from mk1, they will all be in there NEW 3d form, thats means 3d kabal, and rain, and goro, and khan and reiko, that will end the rumor between the two, in the beginning the monk u play as is only 13, so that means scoprion is in earth realm maybe, and we also see older sub, and reptile in his ninja outfit, as your monk gets older, then u see the other reptile, and scoprpion moved to outworld, that right there is badass and wont disappoint. that also means we might see older shang tsung and as u get older, shang gets younger lol. this cold actually take place at mk2 in beginning and as years pass on this it goes all the way to MK:D storyline, that is badass, and maybe even an ending that hints mk7. bad ass!!!!!
