MK:D fight night and IRC

I'm trying to join the MK IRC channel for fight night, and the server says i need to be voiced to speak. How can I get a +v?

I know only a mod can +v me, but I cannot talk without one. Does an op need to set the +v mode to everyone that enters?

i'm still confused. They are on a timed thing? If so, I hope they do it again before fight night, i'd love to be there to read it...OR since they didn't want 100 people asking questions and clearing the chat, did they revoke spekaing privledges for the interview?

As far as I know, only mods and staff will be voiced.
