they will make one but not for online play unless nintendo makes an online adaptor like ps did, which they said like a year ago they were going to, but then again i've heard talk about the new nintendo system

If midway doesn't release it for gamecube alot of gamers will not be happy and midway knows that. They should release info about it at E3.

... !

MKD is not coming out for the GC, and you have no proof to backup your statement.

You are beginning to become quite the troublesome one, you already have 1 or 2 topics locked i'm sure of it. I would just forwarn you that Big Brother does watch over these forums for topics and trouble makers.

Please do not make comments that you cannot backup with proof or with a source.

Screw off ?

I am expressing an opinion and so are you, but I have not told you to screw off or anything else as personal. Midway have said that there not doing MKD for the GC, what else do you need to know!?

i know big brother watches and i don't care just because i made a statement.

i'm talking about a game and if they don't like it just like you they can kiss my ass i don't have to sit here and type about a game that i'm GONNA play when it comes out.

MK Deception NOT on GameCube
Posted at 0:31 AM EST by ]0MBAT

Nintendo fans will surely be disappointed by this news. After some speculation of what would happen, Midway has finally made an announcement.

"Mortal Kombat: Deception is not under development for GameCube," a Midway representative said.Considering that MKDA's sales were less impressive on the GameCube then on the other systems, as well as the lack of online play on Nintendo's console, this move was somewhat to be expected.

Yes, but then again, there was another statement saying they were still considering.

Yes they are CONSIDERING not making it for the gamecube. And what are we doing? Just siting her talking about it.

What we need to do is bombard nintendo with thousands of emails and telephone calls. We need to show nintendo that a mortal kombat Deception for the gamecube is worth boosting buisness for your device. It's stupid to not consider how much more money they'd make.

How bout instead of posting threads, u send ur opinions to Midway and Nintendo. That'll get more done than debating this issue over and over.

Midway is one broke ass company. They can not afford to put it on Gamecube, and later find out that the sales sucked.

They learned from their mistake with DA.

enough said.

Cervantes: I'm sorry you had to put up with so much stupidity. I wish I could have been here earlier to back you up.

Maybe, but he's also flooding. I do agree with you, but we have to draw a line somewhere.

To everyone else: This mostly concerns those who are having trouble doing something as simple as reading other people's posts:
FLOODING IS NOT ALLOWED!!! STOP DOING IT!!!

Is that clear? Are you guys having any trouble understanding that? If so, allow me to type in bigger fonts and maybe it will stick this time around.

Not to mention he says the game WILL be made for GameCube, when not only does he have NOTHING to back him up, he's also probably wrong.
He's not stating an opinion. He's trying to state a fact. Too bad it's a lie.

OKAY, LISTEN MORONS! --

Update on MK: Deception Platform Availability
Posted at 1:55 PM EST by DArqueBishop

I spoke to a source within Midway Games today, and he confirmed for us that Mortal Kombat: Deception will not be released for Game Boy Advance. With that news, it appears that the only consoles MK: Deception is currently scheduled for release on are Playstation 2 and X-Box.

-----------------------------However, our contact did state that a final decision concerning the GameCube version was still to be determined, despite earlier reports.-------------------------------------------

Our thanks to our contact at Midway for the heads-up on this information! We will report more information as we receive it.

BASED ON THAT its clear to see its still up in the air. NOW that THATS cleared up *mumbles about people not reading the news thoroughly*, it's still EXTREMELY possible that the game will make a port debut on the Gamecube. Midway has changed its ways of aiming for stupid titles, and now have a lot of good butt-kicking titles on the way that they see a BRIGHT FUTURE with, and what do people do when they think the future's bright? grin They take risks! And that's exactly what I think they'll do. Expecting a good year, and expecting a positive turnout, I definitely believe Midway will say "What the Hell. Lets go ahead and throw it out there for the Cube." And it will be there.

For all of you game-making-illiterates -- PORTING is NOT that hard! Sure, if you're specifically DESIGNING a game for a console, like MKDA was done for all 3, you have a lot of work ahead of you trying to figure out how to optimize the game best for that system. If MKD is ported, its not only simple but inexpensive, and will NOT be a pain for Midway's wallet.

Also note -- it's still like 7 months from even being ready to release! It's not like anythings set in stone! Oh Hell, yes. "Well they say it isn't coming out on the Gamecube!" Well they also said MKDA would have ripped clothing and sweat. Obviously changed their mind on that one, didn't they. It's extremely possible for the game to still make a debut, if even late, on Gamecube. Put NOTHING passed confused struggling game makers and their usually crappy representatives.

Thank you, and Hav a nice day.

ONE MORE THING --

Gamecube does have an online adapter, a 56k and Broadband. I own the Broadband. And they DO have OTHER games than that weird RPG that play online, like Mario Kart and 1080 Avalanche. Simply not officially.

Visit www.warppipe.com for more infomation.

Have a nice day.

wow, calm down.

It is an expensive process to port a game, playstation is one of the hardest consoles to code for.
X-box being the easiest because it is more similar to a computer.
I don't know where gamecube sits, but I'm sure its a lot of money, considering most of the team probably averages 100-200 bucks an hour.

As for ripped clothing and sweat, its because the game had a due date buddy. They had no time to put it in
