I realise that I am probably quite unwelcome here, but I do also realise that there is much more strength in numbers. If anyone wanted to support MK: D for the GameCube please sign the petition. I apologise to the moderation staff if such a topic has already been made. I wouldn't know for I don't check the forums regularly. This is not my petition but it is worth a try.

Edit: *Please don't bother replying if you aren't signing. The last thing I want to do is start a console war.*

Wow, that was one stupid remark you just made.

Anyhoo, a GCN version of MK:D wouldn't have every feature. Some things would have to be taken out in order to make it fit, play, etc. As I said in an earlier topic, Midway is trying to work on ways to get around it, but as of now its cancelled for GCN. They need to figure out how to get around online compatibilities, fix the controls, etc.

People who think petitions actually work are idiots.

If petitions didn't work, then there would be no such thing. However, I don't think MKD will come out for GC unfortunately. I would still like to have MKD for GC. I have a PS2 and a GC and call me crazy but if MKD were out for GC, i'd be all over it. I have proven to myself that the GC loads alot faster than PS2, as I've played MKDA for both. Some of you can say well I'm an idiot bc I could get MKD for PS2 and play online, well I'm not going to bc I don't have an adapter, and it costs money lol, so getting it for either has the same effect for me.

I hate to dampen people's hopes but there is very little chance Gamecube will make the cut. MK:D will probably take too much memory for the Gamecube to handle. I don't mean save memory but graphic memory. The vid cards in the xbox and ps2 are much more powerful than the gamecube. If it were played on the gamecube it would probably be very slow and laggy.

as much as i like my gamecube, mk6 would be a problem for it. splinter cell 2 would be a good example of a game that is severely stripped down for gamecube. the lack of online play will continue to cripple nintendo for many cross-platform games. i never thought i would see the day i would buy an xbox but for mk6 i must.

Why would they change the graphics for GC?!?!?! They didn't for DA or Soul Calibur...

Anyway... if it doesn't come out for Gamecube I'll just buy Soul calibur and custom robot and play MK in some friend's house...
