First: I didn't see this touched upon anywhere. It seems like it would be a useful guide, as how there is no in game movelist for them.
COPYRIGHT 10/21/04 By me Tetra_Vega, a.k.a. Jeremy Cannon.
Anyways, I got frustrated with MKD's stage weapons having a lack of movelists, so I spent an hour last night(10/20/04), personally figuring out each stage weapon's moves, and combos.I figured these out 100% on my own. I'm surprised nobody else took the time to. I hope this helps, enjoy!

Movement is with D-pad or analog stick, all systems.

Terms I use:
Push/Power: means that your opponent gets knocked back. Can't combo.
Uppercut: hits your opponent into the air, like an uppercut. Can Juggle, difficult (for me at least)
Popup: Hits your opponent so they bounce off the ground. Can Juggle easily.
The Stage weapons:
There are 5 stages currently known to contain stage weapons, and I have listed the stage they are in, their location in the stage, a vague discription, etc.. Note, if you change your stance, the weapon will return to it's original location, and you, or your opponent will have to get it again. Sadly though, you may not be in the same area as it anymore, as returning to a previous area is impossible. When a weapon is on its pedestal, it acts like a solid object, mainly a pillar, but you can jump over it. As such, they can be used for what little wall play you can get out of them.
Thoraxe
Beetle Lair
The Thoraxe is located in the second area, to reach it you, or your opponent must be bashed through the bare looking wall with the yellow strip at it's base. Once in the lower area, the Thoraxe should be easy enough to find, I mean it's right there, come on. Only Kenshi...
The Thoraxe seems to be an axe like weapon. It has a longish metal shaft, with some sort of decorated leather(?) grip, with an insect shaped head, similar in design to the one in that cool red thing in the upper area. This is the most developed weapon, and I do believe, it's been in the game the longest. The name, Thoraxe, comes from the similarily named body section on an insect, it's Thorax, which goes nicely with the insect theme of the stage. Something strange, is that in your Stance bar, "Thoraxe" is green like your martial arts, instead of silver, like every other weapon. Leave it to Boon to overlook this.

Cleaver
Slaughterhouse
The Cleaver is located on the bottom floor, in front of the Grinders. Be careful trying to get it, or you'll get it!
To reach the lower floor, do a power move near the center. Similar to the level ascention from MK3/UMK3/MKT, but in reverse.
The Cleaver is basically an axe, with the blade fashioned in the manner of a Meat cleaver/Butcher's knife. The handle is a seemingly wooden or rusted metal shaft, with a leather(?) grip. Another stage themed weapon.
Moves:
1:.................Horizontal swing
Away+1:.....Swing at feet

War Hammer
Sky Temple
The War Hammer is the first weapon that's right there . You cant miss it.
STOP! Hammer time.(Sorry, long running joke amongst friends, heh McHammer, yes Mc)
Remember MK4? I'm so Sorry. This had a wooden counterpart in that "game". Raiden's War Hammer is your basic Maul/Sledgehammer. The head appears wooden/rusted metal, with shiny metal caps at each end. The handle is a metal shaft, with a wrapped looking grip area. This weapon is designed for power (knocking people off the roof), as much as I tried, there are no combos for this (Besides combos started with popups or uppercut moves)
Moves:
1:.................Overhead popup
Down+1:....Crouching overhead swing
2:.................Power jab
Away+2:.....Uppercut
Down+2:....Standard uppercut swing
3:.................Horizontal power swing
Down+3:....Swing at feet
4:.................Overhead power swing
Away+4:......Jab to feet
Down+4:.....Swing at feet
Combos:
Away+2...Away+2...1: 3 Hits, 25% Damage (From jerodcross)
Away+2...Away+2...Away+2: 3 Hits, 22% Damage
Away+2...Away+2...Down+2: 3 Hits, 25% Damage
Away+2...Away+2...3: 3 Hits, 23% Damage
Away+2...Away+2...4: 3 Hits, 23% Damage
Lungchuan Dao (a.k.a: Red Dragon Sword)
Chamber of Artifacts (a.ka: Red Dragon Temple)
This weapon is also readily available in the starting area. Ok, ok, so you, or your opponent, must be sent through The Master Emerald lookalike in order to free it, you can't have everything just handed to you. Watch out for Knuckles!
The Lungchuan Dao, looks as if it belongs in Final Fantasy, as it looks more fantasy than battle worthy. It resembles a giant sai, with the two decorative blades near the handle, it also has two smaller "teeth" near the tip of the blade. It is engraved down the center, with the same markings from the walls, The Lost Tomb, The Runestone, Quan Chi's amulet, Quan Chi... They're everywhere in the MK universe, but nobody realized Onaga's second coming was near?
Moves:
1:.................Horizontal swing to mid
Away+1:.....Swing at feet
Down+1:....Crouching, overhead swing
2:.................Popup
Up+2:.........Uppercut
Down+2:....Standard uppercut swing
3:.................Vertical Upwards swing
Away+3:.....Stab to mid
Down+3.....Crouching swing
4:.................Sinning back power swing
Down+4:....Swing at feet
Combos:
2...2:............2 Hits, 24% Damage
Up+2...Up+2: 2 Hits, 15% Damage
3, 3:.............2 Hits, 20% Damage

Up+2...Up+2...4: 3 Hits, 25% Damage
2...2... 3, 3: 4 Hits, 31% Damage (From jerodcross)
Up+2...Up+2...3, 3: 4 Hits, 26% Damage
Quadspade
Liu Kang's Tomb
It's located in the center of the level. At least here, you don't have to worry about losing it. There's only the one area to fight in.
This is the only one-handed weapon. It has fairly good speed. The Quadspade looks similar to Shujinko's sword, with a serrated strip on one side at the tip. This design was one of the proposed concepts for Shujinko's sword. "Shujinko's sword concepts" can be unlocked in Krypt, I forgot which Koffin.
Moves:
1:.................Overhead swing
Away+1:......Popup
Down+1:....Crouching swing to mid
2:.................Horizontal swing to mid
Away+2:.....Uppercut
Down+2:....Standard uppercut swing
3:.................Stab to Face
Towards+3:Power (upwards slash, I think. Poor note taking)
Down+3:.....Swing to mid
4:.................Quick swing to head
Away+4:......Swing at feet
Down+4:.....Swing to mid (Crouching? Again, poor notes)
Combos:
2, 2:.............2 Hits, 19% Damage
4, 4:.............2 Hits, (N/A) Thing doesn't show up for this one either
Away+1...Away+1...Away+1: 3 Hits, 28% Damage

Thank you, serum, for telling me the Xbox button to pick up weapons.
Thank you, jerodcross, for the combos you provided.
Thank you, JohnnyCage22, for your combos, and Xbox button correction.
Thank you, Salman, you pointed out that stage select is the black button on Xbox, before JohnnyCage22's added corrections. Sorry for taking so long to acknowledge that.
Thank you, Konqrr, for the Gamecube controls.

Thanks for the guide! But how do you actually get ahold of these weapons in the arena? do you have to press a certain button while close to the weapon or what?
I'm not sure what the controls are for Xbox, but for PS2 it's L2 to pick up stage weapons. I'll add that in up top.

About Me

Laugh if you like. Doesn't matter. Assume that you're so much smarter than the poor, broken lunatic. Doesn't matter. But think about this: Your a dead thing, same as me. You died and were reborn...as this. What makes you and me different? Simple -- I remember what I saw when I was full and truly dead. You'd be mad too.

Here some more combos for the Thoraxe. This one is easy to pratice because you find it in Beetle Lair, and Beetle Lair is the level u pratice on when u go to pratice,
Anyway here is the combo.
1: Square (PS2), X (Xbox)
2: Triangle (PS2), Y (Xbox)
3: X (PS2), A (Xbox)
4: O (PS2), B (Xbox)
... means wait until they pop up. you have to hit the nest button at the right time or the combo wont work.
3,3,4,4,...1,....3,3 [8 hits-34% dammage]
Thank you all.
By the way, JohnnyCage22, you can choose what level you practice in. It's R1 (PS2), I don't know for Xbox. That's what I did when figuring out the moves.

To get to the bottom part of the Slaughterhouse, just do any pop-up attack in the same general area three times. To break the glass, just have the characters allined with the jade glass and uppercut.

This is just a guess, but im guessing this will be the gamecube controls.
1 - B
2 - Y
3 - A
4 - X
Block - R
Change Style - L
Pick up weapon or throw - Z.
I wonder what they are going to do for Picking up a weapon and throwing. Maybe pulling and clicking one of the shoulder buttons.

I too believe gamecube will be the same controls as mkda.
if ps2 and xbox have the same controls in mkd and mkda I think the gc version will have it too.
I'd rather wait till it comes out, just to make sure. I don't want to post any false information.

By the way. It is interesting for me to know that there are kombos in the stage weapons. And that there are more weapons than 1! ( I thought only was one before I read this thread)
It will be fun next or the week after that to play mkd with these weapons smile
