It was already more or less confirmed by rayrokka in the forum thread for the news post about the GBA sequel being announced. He did say, after all, "I sure do love `ketchup' with my fries..." Ketchup was the temporary name used for Sektor during development of MK3.

That's cool news...i find it really odd that Sektor returns...and also...even more odd that he's the very first character confirmed for MK:DR...of all the possible names...Sektor didn't run through my head haha.

Stryker's hair is blonde, not red.

Not to mention the fact Sektor was called Ketchup in production, while Cyrax had the moniker of mustard.

If it's not Sektor, then that was a very silly tip.
