Personally, I think this would be really cool. They should approach the alt costumes as a " what if dc characters were originally created by midway".

This might be an extreme example, but what if Batman had a costume that looks like a traditional mk ninja design (e.g noob saibot but just with the bat symbol on the chest) or what if Superman had a elder god attire remeniscent of Raiden but with the superman elbem on it.

Hopefully, mk vs dc would have more that 2 alts for each person, so you could have other stricty traditional dc costumes. But midway has to go wild with some of their designs.


To make things fair, the same senario should be applied for the mk characters. In other words, super-hero like costumes for the mk characters. And this has been done before with mk3, which was filled with tight spandexes.
