MK vs DC: PSN BLOWS!!!!

It's about 9:30 pm eastern and I've tried 27 times in a row to get online and I keep getting "The network connection to your system has been lost. Make sure your Ethernet cables and router are connected properly". What a f'ing joke. I hopped online to post this using my computer so I know it's not my connection! I just downloaded music at my fastest DSL speed. What the hell is the deal??? Fix it!!!!!

This have happened to me yesterday and this morning, the same "network connection" message comes on while trying to connect to the servers.

First of I have wireless internet for my PS3 and the network error only comes on for MKvs.DCU and not other games. I played NBA 2k8 and 2k9 only and it works fine, so I try and flip-flop between MKvs.DCU and other games, and it doesn't work for MkvsDCu.

I think its basically the servers for the game, I think its an overload of users on the servers, so...it FAILS!;-p

Has to be a ps3 thing. 360 version does not have this issue.

The thing is that the rooms can only hold up to 100 people each make sure its not way overcrowded

calm down the samethings been happening for mkd mka and now mkdc from what im reading.it's been happening for a few days.i can get on in the AM but not at night.asfor you DCers,i assume its the sameway.confusedps2/3 wise.

WAZ up Hema my brother from another mother! Ya it seems all mk servers are down. Hopefully they are being upgraded, but hey that's wishing for too much. I can log on to MKA, but it takes like 3 or 4 tries. MKvsDC is down, but its been down before. It probably crashed. lol. See you all online soon!

I have wireless internet for my PS3. My problem is only slightly different from yours. I'm constantly being dropped into "false rooms", where everyone has a grayed-out orb next to their name and there is no activity. This happens both when I first try to get into a room, and then when I come back from a fight.

User error my friend.

You probably have a firewall, blocked ports, wrong cord, the list could go on forever.

I can plug my hard line straight in with no problem. Buy a wireless USB off eBay for like 5 bucks and use that, much easier imo.

The weird thing is I've been playing MK vs. DC online with no problems since the game came out until last night when I kept getting that error message. I haven't changed anything in my home network. I played other games last night with no problems. It has to be a PSN MK vs. DC thing.

This problem been happening to people of Midway Boards as well . I been having this problem since day one . PSN lags the hell out of me and is a joke to online . It feels like I'm playing with a ******* 56K modem . The only 2 games I have that don't lag is Warhawk and Home ( Which I don't like both of them :P ) . Tekken 5 DR Online , MK2 , and this lags ALL THE TIME !

PSN and the companies attempt to make servers not lag for PS3 = FAIL !

I'm guessing 360 won't have this problem . My sweet sweet 360 never lagged much for me :) . It plays COD4 , UMK3 , Saints Row , etc. very well :D !

It all sums it up . No way in hell I'm getting SFIV for PS3 .

EDIT : I use wired cable btw .

That 100 max users to a channel has nothing to do with frequent lag like exits to main menu after connecting to a channel . It's the server . Lobby channels and servers it runs on are 2 COMPLETELY different things .

If you think its the lobby max users in , why don't you try going to a 8 user channel and play someone then exit to lobby menu and pick another channel and see what happens . To me it would desynch . Therefore it cleanly states that is not the reason .

yeah instead they have a shitty controller. lol! wink I have an xbox 360 btw, just love the ps3 controller so much more. but as far as the network issue, i was having the same problem. it was the midway servers. I have a wired connection to FIOS and everything runs perfectly. MkvDC just sucks ass on the ps3. Midways servers crash every now n then and that is what it says, they blame it on our ethernet cables. Lol. Fail.

That only happens when you try and join a room that has more than 100 users. 100 is a limit, and any joiners after that will get that error and be kicked. Plus, after 27 attempts in a row...With others entering online as well...It's safe to say it's a problem on your behalf.

I can't get online at all on MK vs DC. Every other game works fine online except this. Any tips?

I sold my PS2 back when MK5 went online. I would try for hrs to fight 1 match. I bought a Xbox and MK5 and I never had a problem no matter what time of day. Now with the 360 same, no problems. The PS3 controller is 10x better than the Xbox's but, Xbox live is 1000Xs better than PS online.

Never experienced anything horrible other than beta and maint. times.

I paly regularly on Resistance 2, Socom, LBP, NHL09, MK vs DC with no problems.

The only time I have ever seen this happen is when your trying to get into a room that has over 95 people already in it... if you try to get into a room with 100 people in it ..you get dissconnected...going to a room with less people
