MK:D is supposed to surpass MK2

I noticed that too. I think everyone pretty much agrees (well, not EVERYONE, but a lot of people) that MK2 was the best, and that being respective to technology, they were never really able to recreate the 'feel' and success that game had. By success I mean connecting with the players, not necisarily financially. I think MK6 will be their shot at returning to the type of 'feel' MK2 had.

I noticed that as well. With everything that has been announced so far, it definitely looks like MK D is going to surpass MK DA in many many ways much like Mortal Kombat II did over Mortal Kombat one. I can't wait until more is added to that site.

I think they will get a good creepy feeling with mk6. JUst look at the fighter that are in right now. no cute a cheesy characters, theyre all bada*ses. Ermac, Sub, Noob, Baraka, Mileena.
And look at the arenas, pits multi-tiers, dangling corpes. its gonna be awesome. I saw one stage in the trailer. dont remember where exactly but i saw barake in a dark stage with a dark orange sky...it look really great. Can't wait to see it.. just hope theyll bring it to the good old cube... its not a pansy console anymore(RE4.... please midway....bask us all in mk:D's Blood

Yeah that's pretty much it. Ever since MK:DA came out, and there were dissapointmens I always felt MK6 would come through and deliver like MKII did.

MK6 will pretty much be the next mk2, probably even better. From everything we've seen so far, there doing a good job. The sound of stage fatalities, death traps, weapons, konquest, and everything else, makes it seem like this is going to be a great game with a really dark and gloomy feel.

I'm sure this will make up for the things DA lacked.

When Deception was first announced the I found the official site, a friend of mine started thinking about the reasoning for it.

MK2 is the best in the series, according to a large majority of the fanbase.

The first characters shown in hi-res renders were those who made their series debut in MK2.

All of the features shown thus far seem to have a look and feel much like that in Mortal Kombat 2, so it's safe to say that we should be pleased with many of the new updates.

if u think about it proportion-wise (i know thats not the word i'm lookin for)

mk went from mk1 to mk4 using the same style

mkda was revamped with a new engine, i think they are starting over. mkda = mk1 and mk6 is equivalent to the mighty mk2 (only on the new engine) cant wait

mk2 has been surpassed by every mk game after mk2.

You guys are stuck on Mk 2 hell every game they made was better then the last one. MK:DA was the best one so for MK:D will surpass Mk:DA just like when MK:3 surpassed MK:2 so pull your heads out of that hole you call an @ss. thank you for reading this.
