in the 2nd ign trailer during the chess game, bo and li fight. during that fight you can see what appears to be crooked pillars with face pics on them in the background which look very similar to the mk3 arcade roster screen. you can also see floating shadow priests and floating steps like the portal from mk2. if that is the case then that is rather cool.

Yep, I noticed it too. It looks like the MK3 tables to me... I could recognise some faces on the tables.

The Arena's stage music is also "Kahns Arena" from MK2 if you listen close enough.

The armory would be awesome in MKD. Just imagine how much weapons there would be, and how much interaction. It'd be sweet.
Im enjoying the reincarnations immensly..

MKTeam.. if you are listening.. make a 2D pit with the 3D models and bridge (or whatever). Because it's obvious that when fighting on a bridge in reality you're still limited to back and forth.. right?!

Judging from the second picture, Li Mei actually doesn't have the scariest face ever this time around. I'd even say she looks somewhat attractive. :)
