I think it should because it tought me how to play the game. I mean, I dont think i just would have learned how to do all those combos without konquest. At least thats my opinion.

then why did they put practice in there, waist of time if u ask me. Although i would like to see it return but more like the mission mode from Soul Caliber 2. not just a practice that runs you through the moves

I think it should return. Definitely.
It not only got us accustomed to the new form of gameplay and allowed us to sharpen up on timing and how to use the multiple styles in flow during gameplay, but it also gave us a great lot of background on what was going on in the storyline and explained who was doing what, and why.
Plus they rewarded players for taking the time to learn the ins and outs on how the new system worked, not only with coins, but with Mokap and Blaze.
I would be disappointed if it didn't return.
(though an unlockable fatality practice mode would be a cool and easy reward to do in-game...

lol!
Anyway, I think that Konquest should definitely return in MK6 but this time, there should be so much more. It should be unique for each character. I'd really like each character to go through their storyline in MK6, not just read what happens. The training stuff that was in MK:DA's Konquest mode should simply be placed in the training/practice mode.
I also hope that in Konquest, people can play the same missions over again and again, but, they shouldn't really have the exact same experience. My idea for Konquest is that perhaps they should get graded for how they did in that mission. And let's say that each character has 10 missions. If you get the highest score for each of the 10 missions for that one character, you should get a special reward.

I would love to see a more indepth Konquest mode with varying/interactive storylines. I've seen great examples of this with VF4 Evolution and Smackdown Shut Your Mouth. It would really help the replay value of the game and perhaps help you learn more about whatever character you are using.

I liked the konquest mode, it gave some extra stories to the caracters and gave the oppertunity to learn the quick basic moves.
I would like to see it returning also, but with a few new extra's.

I liked konquest mode but it turned out much different then I had originally thought it would be like. I thought it was going to be a character that you actually controlled through a storyline so I was a tad dissappointed but not for very long because the konquest mode was still pretty sweet.
I think Konquest should return but with a few extras. Like a voice to read all the text to you so you don't have to sit there in silence. And maybe some pictures along with that. Also, after finishing a fighters Konquest something new for that fighter should become unlocked, like a new combo, costume or fatality.

I think it should return, but i dunno if it would really work to play out a character's story. I liked what they did in MKDA having characters fight characters they were involved with, but I think they should add some short FMV movies of what happened between characters in the past. This would also let us see older characters in the MKDA style, for example, they could have a FMV movie of Mavado's fight with Kabal, or Kenshi's encounter with Ermac, even what happened to Kano in his MK3 fight with Sonya and his imprisonment by Kahn and the whole thing with Motaro and Sheeva. That would be sweet.

It should definately come back. Without it DA's storyline would have been goofed and it helped me learn branches. Hopefully if MK6 gets it's act together and has some serious gameplay konquest will be even more compelling.

As Z MasterMike said - it would be much better w/ somethin' closer to the path of SC's mission/ weapon master mode. It needs to go deeper than just learnin' combos & weapons. There needs to be more stipulations to the "Konquest". If they can pull off somethin' similar then yes' you have my vote.

as Eniamurt said completion of Konquest havin' unlockables/rewards makes it all the more worth it. You can already buy things in tha Krypt wit the Koinz you earn, but there are some things $ can't buy.

I definitely think it should return. What I would like to see is something to the effect of each character has about 10 missions or more and between each mission a short movie explains more about the character's storyline and background. Also, if you complete a certain mission with a high enough ranking you unlock a new combo or special move. Like with Cyrax, if you complete the mission that teaches you his special moves with a perfect score you can unlock his classic Net. And, if you complete all of a fighter's missions with a perfect score you unlock a new fatality. Like with Sub-Zero you would unlock his beloved,(and sorely missed) Spine Rip fatality. Or with Scorpion you unlock his Toasty fatality, etc. Make everything you unlock in Konquest something from the old games that everyone loves that wasn't in MKDA.

Well, I do like the idea of unlocking extra fatalities. Perhaps if you beat all of a certain character's Konquest missions, you'll get a piece of a puzzle. And if you get all of them, they can form some kind of object, like a scroll, and depending on how you beat the different Konquest missions, separately and overall, the scroll should give you hints and stuff like that to deeper secrets. So in other words, the better your score is for the Konquest missions, the better and deeper secrets you'll find.
