Keep in mind that not all endings do happen. Also Raiden isn't evil he is a lot less kind now. He is still good , but if you fail him or danger Earth in any way,there is a high chance you will be killed by him.

Well, Raiden betrayed the Elder Gods when he choose to stay in Outworld and fight against the Deadly Alliance. In MKDA Ending, it says that his atitue defies the heaven.
Maybe know that Raiden has not faith in human anymore, the Gods try to Kill him. They could send Scorpion to do this task.
About Sub-Zero being is Noob Saibot, it is interesting and maybe possible because there is no Noob Saibot in MK Mythologies. Scorpion killed Sub-Zero after Shang Tsung tournament and probably his soul touched by evil and he become a demon. Masked Sub-Zero in UMK3 or MK Trilogy does not have a bio and ending that reveals much, so they just put that to fill the game.

MK: Deception wasn't the 1st time Raiden went against the Elder God wishes. I forget Raiden's bio in MK2, but I am 100% Raiden went against the Elder Gods wishes in UMK3,MKT,MK4, and MK: DA.
Also masked Sub-Zero does have a bio in UMK3 . From what I remeber UMK3 clearly states that the masked Sub-Zero in UMK3 and MKT was the Sub that was in MK1.Masked Sub-Zero also has an ending. It said something about him appearing in a the 4th MK game which never happened. Of course at Fight Night in 2002 the MK team said that the 2nd Sub in UMK3 and MKT was only in for show and storyline wise only 1 Sub-Zero in UMK3.

The bio for Masked Sub-Zero was taken from Mortal Kombat 2. And in MK2 Sub-Zero was the actual, not from MK1.
And his ending does not explain nothing. That is what I think.

I doubt Sub#2 is dead. I'm tring to figure out just why he was in the neatherrealm to begin with. My honest hope is that he DID die in his own ending (by the hands of the tarkatan warriors) and decended into the neatherrealm. and now he too is a specter ALA Noob & Scorp. that way Noob/smokes ending could be canon 100% and he still would exist. at the same time i love that fact that in ashrahs ending smoke starts to have remorse or whatever and breaks down. a good sign for my ultimate hope that he becomes good and saves sub#2 later on.

Sub-Zero isn't dead...Boon already said there won't be any future MK games without Sub and Scorp. Him dying in Noob's ending was just a part of showing Noob's true origin. As others have already pointed out in this thread: Events in a character's ending do not always happen, but biographical/origin/revelations about those characters usually are true.
so, It is true...my theory of over 5 years that Noob SAibot is actually the older brother of Sub-Zero was one of the best things that happened in this game, IMO. It gives Noob Saibot a MUCH deeper personality. After I beat the game with him and found out that my old theory turned out true, Noob became my favorite character.
How could the deceased Sub-Zero be THAT evil that he is corrupt to his very soul...more evil than any demon in the netherealm...so evil that the only reason he's there is because he WANTS to be there. This opens up tons of possiblities with the Noob Saibot character. If he's so damn evil, I'd liek to seem him act like it. After the events of Mythologies, and all of Sub-Zero's heroics, I couldn't imagine him being so evil that he wants to rule the Netherealm for himself. But this is a great opportunity for Noob Saibot to be a great, powerful and stand-alone character. He doesn't need Smoke tagging along with him...Noob and Smoke can become seperate characters now. Noob was sub-boss in this game for crying out loud...he is certainly going to be a deadly and important figure in the coming games...perhaps enemy of both Sub-Zero AND Scorpion...forcing the two of them into an alliance?
As for Raiden...he isn't evil. He's just wicked pissed. I can ee a conflict between him and Fujin arising, or possibly someone else.

i had just lost to the deadly alliance, shang stung had just been beaten by quan chi, however the true ruler of outworld onaga the dragong-king has been ressurected through deception, to fight the dragon-king i allied myself with the deadly alliance however i saw that even our combined might was too much for the dragon-king, so i decided i would sacrafice myself to beat the dragon-king, however it didnt go acording to plan, thanx to the warrior shujinko, the dragon-king has become all powerful, and has ressurected me and my allies however my mind was to much for him to contain and when he took his eye of me i escaped and eventually rounded up surviving warriors to beat the dragon-king, shujnko eventually contained the dragon-king but was unable to beat him, it was thanks to nightwolf that the dragon-king was sent to the neatherrealm, and i dealt with shujinko

i sense a grave evil coming, i also sense evil in raiden the thundergod protector of earthrealm, i questioned him about his actions as of light and he ignored me, i took this to the elder gods and they said that raiden's soul has been tainted with evil, to combat this i must take raiden to an ancient lair that has the power to reverse evil, only elder gods know of its where-abouts, but i need protecters so i am holding a tournament to see who is worthy enough to protect me

A lot of perople think that Scorpion couldn't finish off Onaga, becouse Shujinko got there first. Check this: maybe Shujinko did defeat-I repeat DEFEAT- Onaga, but he got killed by Scorpion soon afterwards and before Havik could rip his heart out.
Second: Sub-Zero is too popular to kill off, and since there are already two ninjas who are undead, I doubt, that they will kill him. Altough he gets older and older as time elapses.
The idea of Frost was to succeed Sub-Zero when introducing the second gen. characters. this was a good idea, and it is a shame to see Liu Kang and all of the heroes return once more. I wish they could give pause to Jax (since he did his time already) and Liu (it is annoying to see him defeat every single opponent and boss in the MK series-killing him was a good idea, and bringing him back-altough as a zombie- would be only good if he would leave the saga.
