I think MK6 will have this feature because I was surfing the Midway website and I saw a job openning for a Senior System Programmer who is going to be "developing/maintaining resource management for create-a-player support" for all three console systems. And as far as I know, you need this feature for only fighting games. This sounds like a great news!!. You can check it out at http://www.midway.com

I think you'll be able to choose from a list of specific moves and specials just like WWF Smack Down on PS2. Since you can create your own character, maybe they will implement online Vs mode too. I think by the time MK6 is out, all three consoles should have online access. You can already play online games with PS2 and xbox, hopefully nintendo will catch up with them by the time MK6 out. Peace out! glasses

It would be sweet if they would have a create-a-kombatant mode, but it just wont happen. you'd have to wait until the next generation systems come out. The systems now couldnt handle all that pushed into one game. Picking from a list isnt that fun either. Plus have you ever thought that maybe Midway needs the guys, for create-a-characters, for other games besides MK? Midway does make more then just MK.

it is spipaly this...... the N64 colde do a lot when it came to wwf games, the joy of making a guy, the fun of using him to fight, and the fact this was on the 64, not the gamecube, the 64, the amuot of costumisaon is almost limtiless with this thing.

This would beat ass, I would love to see a CAK mode in MK6, Id bet if they did they move sets you could just choose an existing set or you could edit one of your own, and could go along w/ attire and weapons you might choose

i do not think mortal kombat 6 will have a create a character. I say this because i was on midway.com and i read that mlb slugfest will have a create a player. the guy they need is probably for that, not mk6

i hope there is no create a fighter mode - i think it takes it away from the hard work put into the game.

the mk team worked hard to get every character to be of equal difficulty and capabilities and i think they did a good job

I think with the focus in fighters being on the single player experience moreso nowadays, that a create-a-player option would only be a good thing overall to add in.
How would it hurt? smile

I think the "CAK" mode would be worthless, unless you could fit your character into the games storyline somehow.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of having a "CAK" mode in the game, but would just be a waste of time to create a cool character and then he/she not be able to conect to any of the other combantants.
