I think they used Drahmin's model as a base for Meat....Other than that they aren't similar at all. Drahmin is an Oni,Meat is a bloody corpse..Both very different from a certain point of view.

Back to the thread topic:

I don't like meat. It's not that he's boring, or that his story's bad. It's just that he's gross and creeps me out.

Motaro has never appealed to me. I have never considered him anything to do with the story line. He is a really small sub-story character, and not important. There is no reason for him to be in MK:8. I like the whole war thing with him and the Shokans though. That's mildly interesting

As far as Motaro goes I think Mortal Kombat Warehouse put it best in his ending.

With renewed purpose, Motaro vowed that the MK Team Shokan would pay dearly for their treachery.

That gave me a good laugh.
