I am pretty happy that they are putting it on Gamecube. Even though I have a PS2, I am still want to play it for Gamecube because Nintendo is awesome.

I'm happy because the graphics in the GC will look AWSOME...
Also because there is bonus stuff...
The only bad thing is that they could have anounced it a little earlier... so I wouldn't waste money in a PS2...

gaycube sucks, they shouldnt waste time and money on it by making a version of mkd for it. besides, isnt mkd a little too violent for all the little kids who still play nintendo? they should be playing mario kart or something less violent so they wont wet the bed when they have nightmares

Now that I'm happy that MKD is on the Gamecube, now one issue remains.
Will MKD use the joystick instead of the D-pad? I hated using the D-Pad.

actually, like most people who were born in the early 80s, i was brought up on nintendo, so i know all about link and metroid and all the great games that nintedo has to offer. but gaycube is directed twards little kids, not adults, and mk is an adult game. and i know alot about the gaycube. i know that it sucks, i know that the controller is uncomfortable, i know that the games suck, that the graphics are a joke, that the sound is terrible, and that the loading time is below ps2 standards. and thats saying alot because i dont like ps2 either. i dont waste my time on weaker consoles, i know which one is the better of the three. and unlike the ps2 owners, im not in denial about it. look kid, im sorry your mommy bought you a gaycube instead of something cool like an xbox or maybe even a ps2, im sorry that the only good games on your system happen to be zelda and metroid, and im sorry that you have to wait a whole year to play mkd while everyone else will be playing it online. and im also very sorry that you suck.

I am happy that is coming to Game Cube.

Well I bought a PS2 to play MK:D when it gets released, and I'm pissed that it is now on the cube. They really should of announced it for the cube and at the worst cancelled it later. The gamecube has good games besides Metroid and Zelda, and the graphics are great, they compare to other systems even with less disk space. The loading times are great, I have no clue what your talking about. And dude seriously, it's gamecube. What are you 12 using play on words. Grow up.

I own a Gamecube and a PS2. I am very happy they will release it on Gamecube and I would be if I didn't have one. I think everyone should be able to play this game.
Anyway since I also have a PS2 I will buy the game on PS2 on november 5th (that's when the PAL-version will be released). Then when the game comes out on Gamecube I might buy that version too, since it has "extra features". But that depends on what the price will be (probably the standard 59 euros) and what the extras will be. Otherwise I will wait for the Gamecube-version to get a lower pricetag.

The controller is comfortable, and the joystick is pretty good and i'm having no problems with it whatsoever and this is on it's very first release, feel bad that micro$oft screwed up the first design with it's giant controller. I'm so very sorry that you don't know the current games are coming out on it. Like the Resident Evil series like the one with Leon going into this screwed up village. Nintendo broke it's kiddiness when MK2 was released. Gamecube has very fast load times, I dunno where you got that the Gamecube has slower game speed. *rolls eyes* Most certianly, it's in second place next to X-Box. PS2 it has slow loading times and it's pretty slow in my opinion. The graphics are great, and the PS2 graphics are below average. Geez, I play Soul Calibur and I stare in awe of the graphics.

Back on topic, hell yes I'm happy its coming out on the GC. I can't afford another console right now, especially just for one game, so I'm very pleased. The wait doesn't bother me, however, the PAL release is still up in the air isn't it?

As for your comments, HardtoExist, about the kiddy system that is the Cube, I'd like you to explain to me why the entire Resident Evil series is on a system intended for little kids, or why a shooting game (Metroid Prime) did so well in sales, as well as SoulCalibur 2, and even MK:DA.

I might get it, but I didn't like the D-Pad because the fatalities were a little harder to perfor because the directions are connected. If you pressed a button too fast, it would hit the adjacent button's too, so it wouldn't work. I'll only get it if it has new characters or modes. Otherwise, I'll just rent it at the good guys & gals at Blockbuster!
