I think it has more to do with avoiding than missing. People just don't even bother reading it.

Actually its because I have the forum's bookmarked and the frontpage bookmarked. You see my normal routine is check official MKD page, check IGN, check MKO page, check forums. However when I saw that it was updated since the last time i checked and with this "secret code" i skipped my usual hierarchy and posted. I could have sworn I apologized for posting something many knew, so why people responded after that is beyond me. I guess they are just looking for trouble.

That's exactly what I said in my above post.
You avoided(not necessarily on purpose) the main page.
