As the MK vote off is nearing its end I thought I would take a shot at a vote game. Not quite the same so be sure to read how it is going to work.
A frequent complaint on the vote off was that good players were taken out first by people that loved to hate them or felt they were a threat to thier faviorite. Well here we have a home for all the haters. Here we are not voting to see who is the most loved, but the most loathed. Does Scorpion piss you off? Is Kobra on your hit list? Well get out the brass knuckles and rope because its time to dish out some pain.
Heres how it is going to work. Everyone starts with 0 points. Then each user has 2 points per day they may hand out as they see fit. If they want to give 2 points to one character then thats fine. They may also give them to two seperate characters. BUT wait! theres more. You may also use your points to try and save a character you feel dosn't deserve what he/she has comming. So use the points anyway you feel like. To save a character or to see them dead.
Still there is more. There will also be 2 specal moves you may use. The will cost you both your points for the day. This may not work well but we are going to try it anyway.
1) The Barrier . The barrier last for 6 hours after a player puts it up. It protects a selected character from harm for those six hours. Any votes cast thier way will be discarded. Unless....
If a character recives 5 or more points while they have an active barrier then the barrier breaks and all points count. Plus 1 extra point for every 2 points given. So a 5 point break would do 7 points of damage. A 6 point break would do 9. IF you are trying to cause a break make it known for my ease and so others can back you up.
2) TagTeam. A player can call tag team and use both thier points for one character. If a second user backs up the tag using their 2 points within 1 hour then they will do 6 points of damage combined. If no other player backs up the tag in time the character will only recive 1 point of damage.
There will be four winners in this. One every 2 days at lets say...4:00PM server time. Each winner(one with the most points) will get his finnal reward, a grizzly end to be told by me. Aahh, but as we know in the MK universe death is not the end. For each fallen warrior his or her soul will kept and held safe by the Elder Gods. After the fouth most hated character has died there will be a final 4 vote. To be sure of who really is the most hated member of the MK universe. That lucky character will then have his soul consumed by the Elder Gods themselves. Never to return.
