I think I could possibly make it myself; I've got friends in Carrollton, so I can certainly make the excuse to come up for the tourney.

Bad guarantee, If I were able to make it(Busy with Street fighter championships that weekend. I'd win using Bo Rai Cho, He's top tier and CHEAP.

dood!!! no disrespect , but a good sonya/scorpion (or shang tsung who has sidestepping down cold!) can slap down ol' bo rai' in no time flat! not saying bo rai' isn't good, cause i know he is(!), it's just that scorpy/sonya presents a more formidible challenge when mastered!

true MKL, but logic dictates the majority 60%+ will be from Texas...it's just regional demographics dude!! but i agree, there should be enough spread so that a good sampling is represented..let's just hope SOMEONE records the matches and posts 'em...i need to leech!!

Devil I respect your prediction all the way, It's just I lost interest in that game in a competitive form cause of how broken the game can be. But if someone is smart, they'll try and learn Bo Rai Cho like I know him to be, But If I entered the tourney, I'd have to use Scorpion, Frost or Kung Lao.

For the other guy about the Best winning this tourney, I understand where yu're coming from too, But Let me make a Big tournament with the main event Let's Say Capcom Vs. SNk2(My best game) And on the side Make a side tourney, MKDA. NOw I'm from Orlando, but let's call this the Nationals on a forum without any formal backing by the company Midway who made the game.

Would you come to my orlando tourney if it seemed popular enough, I dunno if you would or not, but Yeah I think I'll throw a tourney in Orlando, and the winner is deemed the best in the World.

Just from experiences no tourney is a nationals tourney unless there are regionals all across America, the maker of the game is hosting it or showing any form of sponsorship...

I'm done lol.

PS. Example, go to SoulCalibur.com, They had Nationals In Las Vegas last week, see how they had regionals all over before it.

Last time I checked, MK hadn't got enough respect for tournaments since umk3.
I'm glad the tekken fans are letting in MK game in TiT5.

sonya is good, but she IS NOT even in the top 5. she loses to better characters like scorpion and Bo.

look, ec.com heald the T4 world tourney in cali. if u felt that u were the best then u showed up. PERIOD!!!! it wasnt said that maybe someone wasnt there cuz if they felt that they were #1 then they soulda showed. its the same here. if u wann come collect some cash and compete against MK players from around the US then u show up. if u win then u have won the ONLY major MKDA tourney which i would say puts u on top.

yeah, about 2 months ago she was in my top 3 untill i found a block trick that blocks BOTH her mid and low mixup at the same time and then she went straight down from there.

#1 in the US? well I doubt that lot of people probably play the game but aren't gonna travel so the best out of that tournament.
