When I first started playing online I played this guy called MKMaster4Eva. Has anyone played this guy before and was he considered to be an elite player??

Huh...
When I got MKD (the day it came out), it was my first online gaming experience. In Oct and Nov ( 2 month trial), I used a similar name called mkmaster (however, I actually meant master in MK1 and MK3). When I started getting my ass whooped all the time and hearing comments like "you oughtta rethink that name of yours" and "pffffft- MK master my ass!", I felt pretty much idiotic cause I didn't use a mic and didn't explain myself. At that time I finished my xbox live trial. I bought the subscription, dropped my head down in shame, and chose a more worthy name for myself: eazytobeat.
How about that?

no, this is the onl acount I have. Im not one of those players who shrouds themselves in mystery with diferent acounts on teh boards and on xbox live. My wireless routerisnt workin so I cant play but im feenings some nk badly. It seems like more fighters are coming to the boards as tehdeadline for mk a approaches.

I don't know why, but that name sounds familiar to me.

EAZYTOBEAT. Its funny you say that because when i first played you I remember me thinking "this guy is definitely NOT easy to beat." haha. Maybe its time to switch back to MKmaster. I highly doubt anyone would talk smack now!

It must of been a year ago now, I really don't remember- I just remember it was very funny
That one about calling microsoft was actually very serious though- the guy was pissed!

lol, that's funny shit
I remember the first time I played you Easy, it was a looong time ago. I remember you not being easy to beat at all then and you have come a long way since then. You should definitely take your MKmaster name back!

thanks... the mods will probably get upset for bringing this thread back, konqrr. well, maybe not; it's harmless
btw, I always looked forward to playing you so I could see you execute all of the great combos I saw on your website- at the time I got there through the IGN boards (alexei posted it there, i believe). Of course, at that time I didn't realize that most of them were not doable online... lol also, mods- just so you know why this thread came back, I posted the following message in the good games thread linking to this thread for reference, then it got replies:

one of the first traits taught by the most skilled and elite players as I've seen here is to never, EVER avoid games with better players than you. That's precisely how you improve. where do you think my 5,000 losses came from? I saw you on here and thought there was a new talent on to play but this is twice you avoid continuing or the absolute worst "opponent quit" shows on the screen. please don't turn into this player and his brother whom I used to respect for being such troopers for taking losses like men and never backing down named 'dangeros' aka 'canttakeus' aka 'kickazzduo'; now they are what are called 'rankwhores' who don't play anyone they think they'll lose to. example: just today, I was hosting a game when suddenly I see the challenge from none other than 'dangeros'! I'm thinking, "great, he actually wants to play again"; lo and behold, as soon as he sees 'eazytobeat'- you guessed it: "opponent quit". very annoying. And it can't be about cheese, cause I don't use any.
you have potential, man. never quit before finishing a series. that's all.
great examples of people who have and/or are improving significantly:
Wu, MEsoFLY, Quest2be1, and several others.
btw- I'm also a part of that list- I once would get my ass kicked all over the place, hence my gamertag:
