BTW, @ Atari well trax pretty much covered it but just FTR JTF(aka the MKAdmin) was the big cheese on MKAC....like you said yourself, why would your IP get banned from browsing or posting on the site to begin with?


Anywho, I also consider MKO home for MK always have and most likely always will. Afterall, this is the original place where everyone was a "whole community" despite the fact of who was friends or enemies of whoever...since we all know "not everyone on here got along" and some never will, but at the same time everyone came here to play MKD. Hopefully we can get that again sometime down the line on here once MK8 comes out. Cheers.

Ever since I started to make fun of "the admin" aka Norman Bates, Ive been having trouble logging into the site. If it wasnt for Quest PM, I probably would have never gotten it fixed.


But now flat out bans my IP adress from viewing the forum section. Might as well just give me the official ban. Be a man about it. Then add a line in the "Rule Section" for future reference - Rule #4080 : If you call users a bad word, you will be banned.



MKLegend - I would like to take this time officially apologize publicly to you by the way. Man, you have been taking a lot of unjustified abuse from the MK community for quite some time. Most of the time, random people were just jumping on the band wagon I guess to fit in. I found it entertaining when speaking about MK, but I didnt like how personal the insults became from some people. Especially threatening bodily injury.


We have had our good and bad encounters since MKD. I know I came down on you pretty hard at times, but at first it was about playing competitively. I think our situation snowballed and then got out of control.


I still dont agree with some of the things you have done in the past but its irrelevant. More importantly, I commend the way you handled yourself throughout the MKF bashing.


We dont have to be friends or even play MKA. Its cool man. I just want you to know you have earned my respect. It may not mean much to you at this point, but I wanted to let you know. Sorry it took me dealing with Norman to realize I was being an asshole.

Quest - I took the time to contact JTF before any of this. He confirms it man. Thats what I dont like about it. He doesnt outright ban me, he just uses a code to prevent me from viewing the forum. I can view it from a different connection but once I post, he probably will just extend the range.

Talk to Quest, he should get your IP straightened out OR just bypass the crappy IP blocks if you could.

Quest - It seems as if you are looking for proof this took place. You should ask "the admin" directly as to what is going on. Besides, I had this discussion in private and out of courtesy, I wont post the actual email but I will give the jist of the discussion.

It seemed odd to me that they would try to do this discretely and not outright ban me. So I emailed "the admin" about why they were banning my IP so I could not post or view on MKAC.

Norman Bates replies and says the admin is recovering from cancer and my message has been forwarded to him. While he careful enough to not directly address the ban, oddly enough, he states I am in the same class as Maverick, DNC ect. (banned members). He blamed initial shortcomings of MKAC on previous users who didnt follow the rules and were just troublemakers. Told me Im a dickhead and mentions his new site and how troublemakers will not be a part of it. However, he said he was open to giving me a "final chance".


*I emailed Admin about being banned through my IP, Norman responds INADVERTENTLY with what was an explaination as to why I was banned. I didnt understand at first, but now I do.


Problem with MKAC is not defiant users, it is because its foundation was built on a lie. You ever have a relationship with someone built on a lie? Makes you want to end it and start over new.

Quest, you know the deal but you are somewhat be in denial about it. The fact of matter is this, there is something fundamentally wrong with what MKAC is built upon and I dont know if you can necessarily mix a formulae to escape that past without major overhaul of the backroom without the the real owner. I don't know if that's possible or impossible.


You can't control lies. The more you try to contain it the more you're exposed. And along the way the liar tends to trip and contradict himself without even knowing. On the face of it you would think JT* is a smart dude but if you talk to him long enough as I have you will find out that he is actually one of the dumbest folks on the net.

We've all had our beefs. I still clashed with you sometime back on game related issues but we always worked out our shit and maintain the level of respect. Mutual Respect, that's what is lacking in the community.

Now.. when you have issues with people and you move into the zone of defaming or stalking people obsessively in the name of a shit ass game, that just sucks. That's what's happened with some users from the XBOX community and has somewhat spread across to NTSC PS2. You can trace the split back to one man and through negativity and taking advantage of some bad situations, he has turned the whole community into a joke where everyone feels they are very important and all wanna be someone without any real substance.

lol, it's all good man. I never wanted to fight with anyone, but will admit I've never liked "certain users because of their arrogance" and blind loyalty towards JTF....for the most part, they don't post here anymore or are banned so you know who I'm referring to.

I'll admit there's also been a few things you have also done that I might not have agree with but it's all water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned....there's not need to bring up past elements at this point and currently I just play the 3D MK's for fun, casually.

I appreciate the kind words though man. I'm not saying we have to be best buds or anything but I have no problem respecting you. There's only a few people that seriously hate me that will never change and chances are my feelings for them won't either...most of the community here I respect and always have.

As for the two sites MKAC and MKO, well the only edge that MKAC has over MKO is the "xbox live community" I've read the PS2 comm on here and it's still pretty filled with users, as far as the sites there's no comparison and MKO rapes MKAC in number count easily. (this is a nobrainer) just look at the amount of registered users on here vs. most other MK sites and there really is no comparison in that aspect.

Check - I dont have a 360 and I dont plan on getting one to play MK8. Maybe if the reviews are saying its the best one of the series, I might consider the investment. But if I got a 360, I probably would only play sports and a war type 1st person shooter. MK8 is not looking to bright.

And IF everything fell in place I did get MK8...if it has a chat feature I probably wouldnt post online at all.
