Id rather have Shaolin Monks. Mainly beucz its a better game than Decpetion and i think i would enjoy playing MKSM on lets say a long drive somewhere than Deception.
But MKU is good becuz u can fight against your friends. I think that you could still probably do that with MKSM but the chracter roster would be limited and that sux.

No. None of this "fuck" Shaolin Monks stuff.
It seems like the last thing they actually did almost completely right as far as gameplay and enjoyment goes is MK:SM. I don't know about you, but MK:SM, and a few more exclusive normal game mode characters like Reptile, Baraka, and Cage would make me happy. I don't care if they re-use Liu Kang and Kung Laos voices for them like they did with Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
I'd gladly drop $40 into a portable version of MK:SM, as long as the graphics aren't terrible and the gameplay is as good as it is on consoles.

That would rock. I'd buy a PSP just to play that.

Both man. Midway would be swimming in money with that idea.

I would play mku because its a quick and fun game on the go.

no way mksm would have a longer lasting appeal. how long could you go just doing fights with under 25 fighters? adventure and platformers keep you on longer because they don't get stale. mksm is one the greatest and should be on all consoles.

Although having a portable MK fighter is good, I'd have to agree with some of you on the forum that MKSM would be a better choice for release on PSP. I'd gladly drop $40 into a portable version of MK:SM, as well. Another series I would love to see a portable version of is the Legacy of Kain series.

meh... both would be pretty cool
i just got a PSP so ill probably get MKU soon but the problem with mksm on PSP would be it wuld be exactly the same as regular mksm... no updates or difference apart from it being portable so i dunno......

blackdevil please don't bump threads that old, and lay off the emoticons guys lol
BTW I don't think MKSM for PSP would be a bad idea. Adventure games are usually more funner than fighting games on a handheld. Who's gonna play a handheld fighting game with you?

I would LOVE MK:SM on PSP, however as upgrades make more people playable, if thats a possibility, Let Fujin have a sub-mission for you, let Kai be playable on adventure mode, (For gods sake he was training with Liu kang years before MK4 so said his bio on armageddon) so why aint he on MK:SM he was a shaolin monk, he was with liu kang, and friends with them both, so why did they fail to mension even the name of Kai?, They might be embarassed? never the less he was there during MK and MKII era so Id LOVE to finally play as the only non-playable shaolin monk.
Just goes to show its about popularity Scorpion and sub-zero werent Monks but they were playable? Kai was a monk but never mentioned once.
he was the greatest monk of the shaolin society, next to Kung lao and Liu kang of course.

MKD and MK:SM can't be compared because...well for one one is a fighter, the other an adventure game.
But honestly, PSP in general sucks IMO so at this point it really doesn't matter.
MKU was pretty good for it, better then I thought but I wouldn't mind seeing MK:SM online with another player otherwise there's no need for it.
