Hi there. Very sorry for the delayed response.
The Mortal Kombat Deception iGuide is slated to be available either the day the game is released (October 4th) or a couple days right before that. The iGuide will be available primarily at Gamestop stores and via Gamestop.com, as well as most Blockbusters.
The Mortal Kombat: Deception iGuide will include the following features:
v Kombat Kontrols – A section for beginners, people new to Mortal Kombat, or fighting games in general.
v Kombatants – The character’s moves, combos, weapons, and fighting styles are not only covered, but sorted by difficulty and how often they will most likely be used.
v Arenas – A look at all the fighting arenas available, including where the destructible and interactive environments are and any special requirements needed to play or unlock levels.
v Fatalities and Hara Kiris – Learn some “killer” ways to finish your opponent, as well as the new feature that enables you to destroy yourself with honor rather than allowing your opponent to finish you.
v Konquest Walkthrough – A strategic step-by-step for each section of this new RPG-like gameplay mode.
v Puzzle Kombat – A comprehensive rundown of this puzzling, new gameplay mode.
v Chess Kombat – A tutorial of this tactical, new gameplay mode, including tips and tricks that ensure success.
v Unlockables – This section contains listings of unlockable content, kombatants, arenas and costumes available in Mortal Kombat: Deception.
v Crib Sheets – Available to DVD-Rom users, the iGuides printable Crib Sheets are handy when one wants to reference the moves lists for each character or krypt unlockables while playing the game itself.
v Bonus Content – Go beyond the game and get into MK Trivia, Mythology, and Kulture sections. Take a tour of Deception with creator, Ed Boon. And so much more!

I hope i get credit for this find... the trailer does show a mission in konquest... and then details on chess kombat on how to get the whole team to have a 50% increase in health and then in puzzle kombat to drop the mk sylbol or bomb on a empty area that will make ur super grow faster

yes fraysol your right it's kabals alt. You can clearly see him fighting on the beach stage. 2 kabals fighting it's obvious. Looks like there's a new stage at the first of the video where ermac slams mileena.
From what I can see it looks like he is wearing his mask in his alt costume. But the alt looks more detailed from the original.

the fight between kabal and havik on yin yang island does not show a new outfit for kabal. it is his default we have all seen before; you can clearly see the backpack and cape. perhaps you are confused by havik's outfit. also the fight between mileena and ermac appears to have a never-before-seen background.

The fight is kabal in his one and only seen outfit vs Kobra in an all black outfit using shang Tsung's stance from DA. Ive never seen it before, its all black. The players are on opposite sides than what their health bars say, thats prolly what is confusing you.
