More Puzzle Characters!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, people, i know that the SU rumor has been debunked by everybody, including the makers of Mortal Kombat, and everybody who plays the game. And i've read all the threads where people are bashed for what they think, so i'm not putting this up for any reason other than to show you what can actually be out there.
NOW, how many people out there have played Puzzle Kombat onine and played against a character you can't actually choose?
I HAVE!!!
AND I HAVE PROOF!!!
I have played against both people who were Havik and who were Ashra, and I managed to get some pics of my Ashra fight.

I am -TWITCH- on the right side of the screen, playing as Jade.
Her special was used once, and it was called something along the lines of "Clear Blue" or something. It had no obvious affect on me, so it might have been something like "Breaker Buster."
I do not recall Havik's.
AND, if you people are wondering, the person i played against DID NOT have a headset, so i couldn't ask them how the hell that happened.
ANYWAY, now we know that there IS something out there, one way or another...

that guy you played was 8DEADMAN. and yes, i can verify this is real. him and his clan have unlocked quite a few puzzle fighters.
i heard that you have to beat puzzle kombat on a certain difficulty, without losing, and without using supers. another hint was this.. "There is a stage with something unusual in the background (and possibly moving, but I'm not going to exactly tell you). Pay attention to this "something" and try everything."
you have to beat it with ermac to get ashra, beat it with scorpion to get hotaru, and i dont know about the others. i was also told that " just maybe everybody in arcade mode can be unlocked as a puzzle fighter"
i myself have not unlocked any of this stuff, i suck at puzzle kombat.

And you guys both realise that those characters are playable through gameshark right? The models are in there but only accesible through gameshark.
Kitana, Drahmin, Kung Lao and others are also playable with the Gameshark.
The main reason most of us were upset was that most of the models from MK Deadly Alliance are in the game, as well as many puzzle fighters, but you cannot unlock them.
Those extra puzzle fighters have the same special abilities as the normal puzzle fighters with the exception of clear blue, which may have been an ability not used. The kung lao puzzle fighter also has clear blue.

yes i am aware of the other arcade models that are not completed, and can only be played with action replay etc.
have you noticed hotaru and ashsra are in the loading screens? thats because they are unlockable, and NO NOT THROUGH A CHEAT DEVICE. you can unlock them without it.
another thing is, twitch played this guy online, who had ashra. and as from what i know, you cannot play as ashra online if you used a cheat device. because it replaces scorpion with the other person. and if you tried it online, the other person still see's you as scorpion.
there ARE more secrets to this game, maybe not many, but theres still some uncovered secrets.

Alright, good, i'm glad you know of who i played, and that there may be ways to unlock more.
and yes, i am aware of using the cheating device, whatever it may be, but it doesn't seem like it would work online at all

Suggesting that the hidden Puzzle fighters are selectable only through Gameshark is retarded, considering that the models are obviously there for a reason besides Gameshark. Yes, I'm sure, they would just throw the extra characters including their specials in there for no reason at all. It's PERFECTLY logical */sarcasm*

I really want to believe this is true but I'll hold off judgment at this point since I've been a little let down by the whole S.U. thing at this point.
However, I think it's important to remember that X-Box Live DOES NOT allow cheat devices during online play.
If hidden puzzle fighters are in the game then could this be the first crack in the S.U. case we've been looking for? If this is real then who's to say there is not more to be found? Could we have jumped to conclusions in assuming that the game contains no further secrets?
Also, consider this. It's pretty easy to fake pictures of Deadly Alliance characters in Deception since it's the same engine and some of the same models are even included in Konquest mode (Jax, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Johhny Cage, etc...)
I've seen a puzzle character of Sonya and it seems to me that someone went to a lot of hard work at creating it. Would they simply just throw it away after all that time and money had been spent on it and so many others that have been seen in screen shots?

This is all very interesting.
I would love it if all these extra Puzzle/MKDA Arcade characters are available without using any cheats.
I guess only time will tell.

I am finally getting to the point where I can regularly do 3 hit combos, so I am going to try to beat the game tonight with everyone. It is not an easy game once you get to the top person. The pieces move so fast you cannot keep track of them. *HINT* you can pause the game when they start moving this fast so you can get a good view of where you want your piece. Good luck

One thing to say....
If you watch some of the old Deception Trailers..... you can see puzzle fighters for Tanya and Kitana.
Just thought I'd mention that.

This IS legit, because XBLive does NOT allow cheats / hacks to be sent through their servers, as also stated by someone else in this thread.

Let's play devil's advocate, and assume they somehow slipped cheats through. This still wouldn't be proof enough for a counteragument, and here's why. If the character models are NOT standardly unlockable in the game, how on earth would have they appeared on HIS xbox? After all, he himself is not using a cheat device, and he would have to have been even if just the models showed up. ie I can't use actioon replay to modify my game on Live and also have it modify someone else's game code that I am connected to. That would take some sending code through the XBL servers, which is prohibited, as aforementioned. Understand? Think guys...

So it's proof enough of more unlockables. Moreover, it's proof of the conspiracy that MK Online and / or Boon are "deceiving" us.

What did it look like when he selected the character, did his player square just vanish and he picked the character? Did it show an extra character icon when he picked it? Did he pick a character that turned into Ashra?

He just picked a normal character (I think it was Nightwolf) and then when the game started it was Ashra instead.

It appears, like Shujinko, that we to have been deceived.
I don't know about anyone else but I considered this a major breakthrough in the S.U. area if it's confirmed.
Of course if these prove to be fake then I take it all back. glasses
I'm going to add this guy to my X-Box Live! buddy list and see if I can get a Puzzle game going with him. I suggest everyone do the same to see if we can get some confirmation on this find.

guys seriously, this IS true. they are unlockable, you have been deceived by midway. fight night was setup, that was not boons real personality.
on this guys website, he posted how to unlock these extra puzzle fighters, then when i asked him about it, he took it off because of all the people visiting his site.
look at my first post in this topic. that was the info given on unlocking these extra puzzle fighters. also, in one stage, theres a bird that fly's by. there is something you have to do when that bird fly's by. i dont know what yet, but yes this is true and you guys need to believe it. or these things will never be truely confirmed.

Actually, we saw puzzle fighters for Kira, Havik and Tanya, and maybe more....but no kitana.
I have seen of Sonya, Ashrah, Shujinko, Onaga, Noob Saibot and Ghost. Those look very cool in the game.

something to add about playable puzzle characters, you have all heard the rumor of puzzle characters being playable in arcade mode? well, just the other day, i was looking at one of the photos of the game creators, i do not remember which person it was; if you look behind the GUY's head at his computer monitor, you can see ermac and some other person in puzzle form fighting in the chamber of artifacts. sorry, i don't have a photo. even so, anyone can do it, just look under Kontent->Photos and look for a MALE photo.

If you look on the side of the screen, you see a Playstation 2. These characters are only availible through the PS2 online using a cheat device.
These guys are left in the code and there is not a way to unlock them.
Where do you guys get that whole xbox live thing? I have yet to see any images of these characters played on Xbox live. That would be more proof than these images which are clearly from the PS2. You can see the console in the left corner.
Some people just wont give up... However if you DO find anything I will create a post apoligizing and leave the forum forever. Which will not happen grin

I have seen this 8deadman guy play as Hotaru in puzzle. he has the same special at Nightwolf if that means anything. I didn't pay attention to where he was when he picked him, but I will definately keep an eye out in the future.

I also remember hearing Ed Boon say you can secret stuff from other small games not just Konquest.
