I am glad to see a topic about this, I just played 88lord online and he used Ashra. He didn't cheat or anything. Also he picked Sindel and became Ashra.

I was told that cheats do work on PS2 Live....And that someone was Onaga and also had there power meter always on full, so power moves where always there for them. Then they got caught cheating and midway turned all there stuff to 9999999 disconnects and so on.

There's about 30 puzzle fighter characters (MKD and MKDA) in the game. They are playable with cheat divices only.
The MK team probably planned to have all characters playable in puzzle fighter but didn't have the time to complete them (as they share supers from the 12 playable characters) So they scrapped them. Their models are still within the game; thus, we can play as them with cheat devices.

1. they do work online with ps2.
2. it is not called "PS2 Live", it's just PS2 being played online. no special name for it like Microsoft decided to do.

God I wish that the creators of mkd would just keep what they have.More arcade characters and puzzle.Even the chess and konquest look more detailed.The death traps have less blood then what they show on the trailer(but then they wouldnt carry it in stores)

I heard an idea on another site that said that when you see the dove flying by or giving a present to the opponent during puzzle, you need to drop a bomb to unlock them. It seems these only happen when you are on the stage with the cruchers or fire and when you do a 3 hit or more combo. Has anyone tried this yet?

Remember, on one of the puzzle stages... a bird occasionally flies by the screen. Perhaps this has something to do with something.

The thiing about the bird has been on all the sites today. It seems a "clan" called 8 something or other has found out how to unlock Ashrah (which I have seen) and Hotaru as puzzle fighters. The only clue they are willing to release (if this is real) is that the bird flying across the screen in Hell's Foundry is the key to one of these. It is also rumored that some people have seen Havik as well.

Ok guys this characters were brought up with Action Replay or with Gameshark. All of the Characters in the game have puzzle models, so taht's why they're unlockable via a cheating device. Remember Boon said on fight night that puzzle game doesn't have more selectable characters. Endo of Discussion

First of all, you can't even write in English much less 3 other languages. I don't wish I could write and speak 4 languages. Second, I was writing on topic. I was referring to how fake Fight Night was, you would have to be a fool to believe any of those answers. After that, I did not understand what you were talking about. Other than the part about me triple posting, which is because of my triple click habit and the lag on this website, I did not know what "The one that must pay attention to his dumbness and retardness it's you " meant. Maybe if you said something like, "You should pay attention to your mistakes and not others," I would understand. I don't really care if we have more characters or not. Puzzle Kombat wasn't that great. But it might lead to puzzle fighter costumes in the Arcade mode, which I would really like to see.

Think before your post. Were not children here (at least most of us aren't).

I am having a real hard time believing this rumor to be true.
The two main proponents of this rumor continue to refuse to provide an exact method for unlocking the characters.
8DeAdMaN, the originator of this rumor, originally told other forum members he would be posting the exact method on his website. He then changed his mind citing all the negative feedback he had been receiving from other people.
BCP, the other major rumor person on the bradygames forums, also claimed this rumor to be true. However, he also refuses to provide an exact method. BCP basically told everyone there that they should stop expecting everything to be handed to them, and that they should "earn the secrets" so to speak.
BCP also throws out very minor "clues" to other members regarding the existence of SU's in the game. His clues are very cryptic, and when prompted for additional information he has a habit of avoiding a direct answer.
That's my two cents on the subject.

Too true. That is one of the great things about Midway and MK in general, you never know what is in the game.

there are 2 birds. the first one gets mooshed by the thing on player 1's side, and bit later a second one gets mooshed by the thing on player 2's side.
however i think this rumor is bullshit. i think some "1337 h4x0r clan" thinks they're great because they use gamesharks and pretend they're SU unlocking-gods.
