then again, Nitara was a last minute character. She didn't even have her own icon in the select screen at MKDA's E3 debut. I gotta say I'm glad they made her at the last minute.

Exactly, he said (something like this) "there will be characters that are not on the roster, but will be selectable" (like how blaze was chosen on the MK:DA roster)

Sounds sweet. So does that mean that all 24 characters wiil be playable from the start? That would be cool.

No, not all 24 will be selectable at first.
