Hey.
Jazware have confirmed that they are doing the Mortal Kombat Figures, nothing is known as of yet - No details on what scale they will be If they are DA or Deception based, what characters and when they will be released, I will keep you all informed of news about this.
Link: http://toynewsi.com/index.php?itemid=4413
This is what they had to say:
Jazware, the folks that have brought us Mega Man and Street Fighter figures will now be bringing us figures based on the hit Video Game series, Mortal Kombat.
Not many details have been determined for the line yet including scale or what characters will be made, but if you would like to give input for what you would like to see for this line, head on over to the Online Poll we are running now.

Thats really nice of you to say...
A lot of people say we waste money on illusions that put ideas into our heads that come from a little box I.E. VIDEO GAMES!
People can do what they want with their money...I'd actually buy some MK Action Figures if they were really detailed and articulated and not some crappy kind, and I'm a huge tightwad on money.

If they're not McFarlane they're not worth it...McFarlane is simply the BEST, especially for MK.

Well usually after people hit 12 they stop. I have. People after that usually just buy them to collect them. I haven't seen anybody actually admit saying they are going to playing with them so I don't know where the hell you are getting this...
Don't say Skelepimp said he was...he was obviously kidding.

Okay, maybe I'm making fun due to my own shame at being a toy luvin' putz. But, that shame does not mean I am lame! That's the name a da' game, baby!
I thought the new Masters of the Universe toys were kind of cool. The Four Horsemen used to work on Mcfarlane and then they went solo and made He-Man cool, again.
The Star Wars stuff is pretty cool, as well. I think if these are going to get toys made then Mortal Kombat should, too. Street Fighter kind of looks lame, but a Mortal Kombat Figure could be pretty sweet.
I'm not saying I want to run around in my superman tighty whities bashing MK figures together shouting
"Finish Him!! Suffer Biatch!!". But, I wouldn't mind having a cool looking Raiden on top of my computer. That would be sweet!

thats all u want them for, is to have them in some desk or whatever an admire it, thats all i want them for,as long as they dont look funky looking.. that be kool if like say for instince Sub-zero holding up a head, blood dripping down an the body just layimg down the ground from a fatality he did,..scorpion doing his flame fatality to whomeever. i think that be tight...etc
DO NOT GET YOUR HOPES UP!!!! Jazzwares Inc. is a TERRIBLE company. Trust me, I used to work for a KB Toy Works and Jazzwares stuff sucks. Their Megaman figures are clunky and fall apart, and their Street Fighter action figures are generic lookalikes (it's Ryu, Ken, and Akuma, just different colors and different heads, SAME BODY) SOTA was up for the MK figures but lost it to Crapwares Inc. SOTA makes the HIGHLY detailed and articulated Street Fighter figures, they would have been the perfect company to make MK collectibles. Expect to see Scorpion, Sub Zero, Reptile, Rain, Smoke, Noob and Ermac to all be the exact same figure, just different colors. My rant it over.
