Actually after recounting it about 10 times there are 57 characters + Motaro, which makes a total of 58 characters. And if there are hidden ones then over 60 characters. Who is Bob? the new Konquest guy? Also for returning characters they forgot about Chameleon, Khameleon, Meat, Kia, Jataaka, Ohona, Kumari, Hinoka, Tasia, Tremor, and No Face.

Why is everybody bringing up those characters? They were NEVER in a Mortal Kombat fighting game that followed the story, so Midway is not forgetting about them, they are just not putting them in. I'm sick of every single person saying "wat abut meat cuz he wuz in da game!?!" He was an alternate costume. That's like saying "Why isn't human Cyrax in this game? He was in Deadly Alliance!"

Why can't you guys just be happy with the 60+ characters we're getting?

The "Where is Kia, Jataaka, Tremor, Tasia and No Face etc?" crap was started by someone misquoting the Game Informer article.

Instead of saying "every character that has ever thrown a punch in a Mortal Kombat tournament is suiting up for another round in Armageddon" they said "every character that has ever thrown a punch in a Mortal Kombat game is suiting up for another round in Armageddon" which is incorrect. BTW The elemental gods from MKM: SZ don't actually have names. Anyone can edit Wikipedia, remember that.

I'm pretty sure that the name Hinoka was on one of the contents of the Kryot in either MKDA or MKD, I can't remember which game, but I do remember seeing it in the Krypt because it had the concept art of Hinoka and the word Hinoka in weird letters.

1. Chameleon didn't even have a storyline. We have the"ninjas", there's no need for him.

well i added a countdown timer i was going to add it weeks ago put i was told it was to early but now everyones jumping the gun . The idea was that thier are so many stickys already and this is a facts thread when all the info is out this thread may not serve a purpose, might as well make it a countdown thread as well so it can serve its purpose to the fullest

i cant wait for this game but i hope that chess mode is back and that smoke is human but his alt costume could be the cyborg smoke and the same for reptile i hope he is in his human form but reptilian form for alt costume and i hope theres a tag team mode and i hope a character has a whip for a weapon because whips are allways good and all the shokan should have four weapons one in each hand

mrblue14, if you read the first page you notice that shadowkat has written
in plain english that chess kombat and puzzle kombat will not be returning,
and as for smoke becoming human that would be anticlimatic since
Midway has already established that smoke will stay cybernetic.
