That's awesome, you better get in there and request it because if I remember correctly, it is first come first serve regarding those stand-ups. (I worked at GameStop for 2 years so I know.) I also took home the Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance one when that game first came out, but the Deception standee is infinitely cooler.

I already have mine at work waiting for me. :)

At least your shops know what Mortal Kombat is. I went in there today to pre-order it and the manager said "Mortal Kombat, what the hell is that?"

It was supposed to go on the front of Game Crazy's window. I have a friend who gave it to me though. It's wicked sick! Only thing that bugs me is the "Reserve Now" up top. I'll do you one better. The other day, I saw a big standee with Scorpion throwing his spear, and with a motorized dragon symbol on top, which caught my eye in the window.

I have the scorpion reserved aswell...im hoping to find the Baraka one too!

The GameStop I'm getting mine from is where I worked for 2 years. I know everyone there and am very good friends with everyone. The guy that saved me the stand-up is a good friend of mine that I have worked with from the beginning. I moved on, but he still looks out for any Mortal Kombat shit I might like. The stand-up is a perfect example. And yes, some GameStop's allow their regular customers to "claim" certain stand-ups in the store pending no employee has already done so. It is first come first serve however, so you better be fast.

A good friend of mine is a manager at EB Games. he's hooking me up with the scorpion stand up. ........yup.

I didn't know the people that worked there. I asked them what they were going to do with the standup when they were done with it and they said, "Toss it out.". So, I asked if I could have it and they said it was not a problem at all. Alot of the standups they end up tossing if nobody wants them. I'm sure if you went to Game Stop and saw a standup they would give it to you if nobody claimed it yet.

I haven't seen the Scorpion standup yet. O_o Sounds badass! I'm going to have to go looking for that.
