In my opinion, Mortal Kombat: Deception is the best Mortal Kombat game of the 2000s.

Arcade Mode: Arcade mode was just amazing. It was extremely fun and I could never stoop playing it. It was a big step up from Deadly Alliance and the gameplay looks great.

Chess & Puzzle Mode: These game modes were extremely fun. I could play these all day. The replay value for these modes were incredibly high. It was also an occasional get-away from the classic fighting modes.

Konquest Mode: The absolute best part of the game hands down. Way better than Deadly Alliance, and more fun than Armageddon's version. I liked the free-roam ability this mode allows. In Armageddon, it feels like it is naturally telling you where to go. Although, I do like how you can actually die in Armageddon's mode. But in Deception, I liked how you started off as a young boy and became older as time went on.

This is just my opinion, so feel free to agree/disagree with any of the above. I like to see what people like and dislike.
