Bios: Scorpion

Scorpion’s soul was nearly destroyed by the two Oni at the request of Shang Tsung. Just before his destruction the deadly alliance was defeated, and the souls tormenting him returned to the heavens. His mission over, he was to return to the Neitherealm. Upon arriving Scorpion learned that the Neitherealm was vacant, empty. Every soul was gone. Rayden teleported to him, and he told Scorpion the events which had taken place. Rayden needed Scorpion’s help not only to safe the Earth Realm, but to save all Realms. Scorpion reluctantly agreed, but after Rayden left a demon called Magus mad Scorpion an offer to fight for the Dragon King. For Scorpion’s assistance, Magus promised Scorpion his old life back, his clan resurrected, his children brought back, and his wife returned to him. But is Magus trustworthy? Scorpion may soon find out....

Bios: Sub-Zero
Sub-Zero allied the Lin Kuei with Jax and Sonya’s Special Forces to not only help defeat the Deadly Alliance, but together, they also defeated the Red Dragon. In return for the Lin Kuei’s assistance, the Special Forces guaranteed the Lin Kuei protection, and a political ally on Earth. Things were looking up for the Lin Kuei: Frost had become a very powerful and loyal warrior (despite a few setbacks), a powerful, old family friend joined their forces, and Sub-Zero was the most powerful man in China. But all good things come to an end. A demon warrior called Magus paid a visit to Sub-Zero to warn him of an upcoming attack from the Dragon King. Magus also informed Sub-Zero of Rayden’s falling out with the Elders and that Earth was no longer under the Elders’ protective barriers. He offered Sub-Zero a chance to expand his empire across all Realms. Sub-Zero said he had no interest in such things, but Magus replied by telling Sub-Zero that him and his entire clan would be annihilated if they refused. Magus said “When the time comes, we will give you a signal, and you will turn on your Earthen warriors, or you will all be destroyed!”

Bios: Rayden

Rayden lost about everything. He lost the support of the Elder Gods, he lost previously allied Realms-who feared punishment from the Elders, and he lost the trust of his warriors. Now his Earth Realm-and every other Realm-could be destroyed. The Dragon King had returned, and he was trying to recruit Earth warriors. And it was not just the Dragon King threatening existence: there were other sinister forces hiding in the shadows, waiting to strike. Rayden knew he needed to act quickly. He sought out help from of the powerful Shaman, Nightwolf. Together they would try to re-gain morel in the Earth warriors and prevent any from joining sides with the enemy enemies.


Bios: Reptile

Reptile helped return the Dragon King after the fall of the Deadly Alliance. For helping Reptile was offered to be a General in one of the Dragon King’s armies. He found himself fighting along side other warriors of his race; Kahn was wrong! He was not the only one! In fact, serving right below him was a familiar warrior Khameleon. Reptile was finally at peace, at war. He would make those who hurt him pay!

Bios: Ermac

Thought to have been destroyed by the hands of the Original Sub-Zero, Ermac mysteriously re-surfaces. He is aligned with a Dark Warlord looking to over take the Dragon King’s army and destroy the Earth Realm. He personally visits the Dragon King to demand a surrender, and after being some what amused the Dragon King refuses the order. Ermac then launches a viscous attack on the Dragon King’s guards. He promises to destroy the Dragon King and overtake his army. Before his departure he offers Magus a chance to join his dark lord. Magus, always being one to keep his options open, says “We’ll see.”


Bios: Sindel

Once the Queen of the Dark Emperor Shao Kahn, Sindel now serves as Prime Minister and Ambassador of Edenia. She personally owes Rayden debt for much, including the return of her Realm and her rescue from Shao Kahn. Joined by Kitana, her daughter, she secretly meets with Rayden and Nightwolf to discuss the defeat of the Dragon King. She is unable, however, to bring an army to assist Rayden and the Earth Realm. She doesn’t tell anyone, but secretly there is a dark force pulling her toward it. Someone wants her to return to her dark ways. She must be cautious .

But wasn't Ermac freed from Shao Kahn's control? Or is that a ruse in your story?

Bios: Kenshi

Kenshi was still working with the Special Forces when he learned of the upcoming war. He helped Jax and Sonya prepare an American army to combat the pending invasion. They privately questioned Rayden’s intent. It was this lack of trust that caused Kenshi to make a deal with an enemy, who offered Kenshi what he wanted more than anything .


Bios: Khameleon

Khameleon was serving in the Dragon King’s army when Reptile became General. Reptile was thrilled to know that there were still dozens of survivors from Shao Kahn’s attack against his Realm. Khameleon wanted to tell Reptile the truth, though. She was in fact Queen of their long forgotten race. And it was not Shao Kahn that had nearly destroyed them . it was the Dragon King! She was trying to bring the Dragon King down from within his armies when she met Ermac. Ermac told her of his dark master had the strength to destroy the Dragon King and his armies. She joined forces with Ermac, not knowing that Magus spying on them and witnessed her deal with an enemy.

Bios: Mileena

Mileena and Baraka were being held in Shinnok’s fortress awaiting punishment, after their failures to help Shinnok overtake the Earth Realm. After most of the souls in the Neitherealm were taken, a squad from the Dragon King’s army, lead by Reptile, broke into Shinnok’s fortress to take Mileena and Baraka to the Dragon King so they could fight by his side. In a short battle, Mileena escaped Baraka was not so lucky. Mileena wanted to control Edenia, and a mysterious entity had offered her the chance, if she did what it asked. She went to Edenia, disguised as Kitana, and directed the armies of Edenia to attack Earth on the commands of the Elder Gods. When Edenia’s military General, Rain, questioned her, she responded by decapitating him. It was done, in Kitana and Sindel’s absence, Edenia’s armies were now attacking Earth.


Bios: Baraka

Baraka and Mileena were being held in Shinnok’s fortress awaiting punishment, after their failures to help Shinnok overtake the Earth Realm. After most of the souls in the Neitherealm were taken, a squad from the Dragon King’s army, lead by Reptile, broke into Shinnok’s fortress to take Baraka and Mileena to the Dragon King so they could fight by his side. In a short battle, Mileena escaped Baraka was not so lucky. Baraka was brought to the Dragon King who demanded Baraka fight on his side. Baraka reluctantly accepted. Ermac tried to convince Baraka to join his side, but out of fear, Baraka stayed loyal to his new master.

Bios: Kitana

Kitana heard of the upcoming war and knew her armies could not participate. She decided she would travel to Earth with her mother, Sindel to give all the help she could. Before leaving she was confronted by the spirit of Liu Kang. He told her that it was unfortunate but Earth was doomed. Rayden’s intentions were good but ultimately coasted the Realm. If she were to save her Realm, Kang’s spirit told her, she would need to align herself with a mysterious Elder, who would help her defeat the Dragon King’s army before it was too late for Edenia.


Bios: Kung Lao

Kung Lao successfully defeated the Deadly Alliance. He took his friends place as Earth’s new Champion. When Shang Tsung learned of Quan Chi’s death, he placed a curse on Kung Lao: if Kung Lao successfully defeated Tsung, he would be tainted with Shang Tsung’s evil. It would be buried deep within Lao, but when the time came Lao would be faced with a choice, and he would choose to side with evil. Not long after, he was confronted by a demon who presented him with a choice .

Bios: Noob Saibot

The enigma known as Noob Saibot has been sighted talking with the Dragon King, Ermac, and Rayden. It is unclear what role he will play in this war, but what is clear is that he will play a role.


Bios: Nightwolf

While meditating, Nightwolf saw visions of war and the destruction of Earth. Shortly after, Rayden approached him and explained the gravity of the situation. Nightwolf went with Rayden to form a defense, and meet with Princess Kitana and Queen Sindel. While on their journey Nightwolf received a vision from a mysterious Elder, telling him that Rayden was not to be trusted.

Bios: Cloreiban

Cloreiban is a priestess who has been known to worship the Elder known as Natu. Little is known about Natu, but it is rumored that he gave the final order to abandon support for Rayden and Earth. Cloreiban has been given much power by Natu, and is a dangerous enemy. It appears she is gathering an army to attack Earth, and her soldiers have been spotted in Edenia.


Bios: Sektor

The Tekunin had successfully taken over Japan, and were looking to take over the world. Lead by Sektor they had defeated the squads of American soldiers and the assassination attempts from the Lin Kuei. But the Tekunin’s plans for world domination would be put on hold in defiantly when the a demon named Magus and some of the Dragon King’s soldiers. They took control of Sektor and the Tekunin and integrated them with the Dragon King’s army. Sektor now worked for the Dragon King.

Bios: Sareena

Now working with Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei, there is much mystery around Sareena’s return. She claims supports Sub-Zero’s decision to protect Earth, but her loyalties are questioned when she is spotted talking to a mysterious ninja. Sub-Zero fears she has made a deal with Ermac.


Bios: Frost

Frost is now the lead warrior of the Lin Kuei. Her skills have proven invaluable, despite a few setbacks like trying to kill her master and take over the clan! But now a war is coming, and she needs to choose a side again. A high priestess named Cloreiban has promised her riches beyond her wildest dreams if she supports the Elder Gods. Apparently, an Elder named Natu wants Earth destroyed. Frost is in deep conflict as she has developed strong feelings for Sub-Zero, but she also values her life and fears Sub-Zero is fighting on the loosing side.


Bios: Jax

Jax has been promoted to a Colonel for his role in saving Earth from the Deadly Alliance. He now has enough influence to organize military attacks. This ability will be needed as Jax has recently learned of Rayden’s betrayal and the big War coming. Jax starts assembling an army. He also recruits Kenshi to help. Jax is approached by a General, Moore, who seems to know more than he’s letting on. General Moore tells Jax that the U.S. can no longer support Rayden, that it’s too dangerous. He tells Jax that if he moves forward with this attack, Jax will be charged with treason against Earth!


Bios: Sonya

Sonya now leads the Special Forces and has learned of the upcoming war. She is warned by U.S. officials not to get involved in this conflict. She tries to contact Jax, but is unable to get a hold of him. She leaves the Special Forces to see Sub-Zero. On her way to China she is captured by a group of soldiers, lead by a creature called Bellosyis. He tells her that she needs to take her special forces units and attack Rayden’s warriors, as Rayden has become corrupted and only wants to destroy Earth. Sonya does not know who to believe

Bios: Magus

Magus is one of the great sorcerer of all time. He trained the now infamous Quan Chi, and has studied all the black arts. He appears to be loyal supporter of the Dragon King, but his true motives are not known. One thing is for sure, he is a dangerous enemy to have in this war.


Bios: Bellosyis

This warrior has not confirmed his alliance, but Ermac suspects he is a disciple of Natu, the Elder. This warrior has holy powers that are not to be underestimated. He has moved a small army into the Earth Realm, but no one knows for sure what side he will fight on.


Bios: Evanty

*Evanty is a hidden, non playable character.* Few know of the other power in the universe. The Original created the Elders, and he created three fates, who would ensure the Elders not be corrupt. The Fates existence has been forever hidden from Mortals, and even many Gods. But with the inevitable war and the possible corruption of the Elder’s one of the Fates, Evanty, is seeking out a mortal powerful enough to end this conflict and restore peace to the Realms. She will give this mortal clues to find her, and when they do, she will put them through a set of trials. If they can prove themselves, they will learn how to win this war, for better or for worse.

don't worry, it should get noticed in there...I suggested it to M4C about a week or so ago to minimize the amount of story idea threads that were popping up all over this place. Plus, there's no harm in bumping up your stories a few pages from time to time if they get buried.
