With the release of MK6 deception it would be wise to restart the film franchise. Much like the batman film which is currently in production and is independant of the other batman films. I think Mortal Kombat should take the same path.

Using story line elements from Deception and possibly from MKDA to create a new film that is not related to part 1 or 2. Which means starting fresh with a whole new cast and whole new look.

With such a rich mythlogy and story elements in the kombat series it would be interesting to develop MK into a grand saga much like the Lord of the rings films but cross that with such films as Big trouble in little china/indiana jones.

I would love to see the unreal in the real. By that i mean would Love to see raiden on earth. in a city not in some CGI based scene.

Picture this Raiden is flying down a busy city street shooting lightning at some evil force. remember how cool it is in Big trouble when kurt russle runs in the 3 storms in that alley way. Well thats my vision for the next kombat film.

Imagine citizens fleeing in fear when Baraka emermeges in the middle of a crowded area to confront Quan chi. (these are just examples to clarify my notion) Or picture Shang sucking souls in a nightclub or similar. I wanna take some characters and put then on a grand adventure from scratch. big budget bit style.

I want to take unbelieveable characters and place them in the real world to begin with. Even outworld I want it to be real, not all CGI. There is so many great locations in our world to film and i am sure there is a suitable area that could subsitue Outworld.
