Ok, ONE of the best fatality ideas for Mortal Kombat Deception:

The victim is split in two, from top to bottom. However, they are sliced from their sides, thus separating, amongst other things, their face from the back of their head.

Think of all the gore that would be available to be spilt upon the ground. This fatality would require very high quality detail. Detail would need to be put into every human internal organ, blood transportation system, skeletal network, muscle meats, fats, body fluids--you name it!

Allow me to illustrate:
If you were to take a 100-page book, stand it up, with the cover facing you. Next, you turn that book to the side, either side, with the binding of the book, or the page ends facing you. Then, you slice that book in the middle, and down, so that the first 50 pages are separated from the last 50 pages.

If you fail to comprehend this illustration, please do allow me to give you more illustrations.

This is one of the best fatalities I have ever read or heard about.

You can't beat that. If you can, try me!

Kinda like in 13 Ghosts right?

That would be pretty cool.
Yea theres a lot of simple ideas that can beat the gore of the one you just mentioned.. IMO thats a sweet fatality too..

A large hook through one eye socket and out the other.. yanked on until the nose bone and tear ducts are ripped and the hook comes out.

(Cyrax) spins his head and walks toward the staggering victim slowly so the chopper blade hit the side of their head a few times to take out pieces and lace into it while their still alive until he can walk no further.. (weedwacker)

But as far as blood spill I'd go with a Resident Evil-esque (the movie) turn your whole body into "rice crispy squares" with a laser net. If anyone saw that they can recall the amount of gore as his eye fell in half releasing the white.

Variation - you could also cut someone into thin slabs like a honey baked ham to the spine. Owwies. smile
