People always seem to be confused about this game. Unfortunatley, I found out the hard way.

MK Gold is a watered down version of MK4, with Sektor. It was only for the dreamcast. Glad I can sum it up

More or less, yes. You also missed Baraka, Mileena, Kitana, Kung Lao and Cyrax.

Hahaha, are you saying you actually bought the game without knowing what it was?

I luv MKG.
I basically view it as just a great version of MK4. It's a bit faster than MK4 and, as mentioned, there are more characters and backgrounds.

One thing about MKG that always makes me laugh and no one ever mentions it is Sektor's ungodly strength. Seriously, Sektor in MKG has got to be among the top 5 strongest secret characters of all time. He is RIDICULOUSLY powerful... it's awesome.grin

almost every new character is a bit overpowered, Kung Lao and his quick recovery after spin, Baraka blade spine damages in the 50s, and the other characters are about the same as well.

I am going to go with what shock said at UltimateMK.com Zero testing, its MKT2
