I luv MKG.
I basically view it as just a great version of MK4. It's a bit faster than MK4 and, as mentioned, there are more characters and backgrounds.

One thing about MKG that always makes me laugh and no one ever mentions it is Sektor's ungodly strength. Seriously, Sektor in MKG has got to be among the top 5 strongest secret characters of all time. He is RIDICULOUSLY powerful... it's awesome.

almost every new character is a bit overpowered, Kung Lao and his quick recovery after spin, Baraka blade spine damages in the 50s, and the other characters are about the same as well.
