Mortal kombat hase given us some of the coolest fighters since the Original MK (hence Scorpion). Now for mk6 why not make your own Ninja or female warrior. i think that this would be a great addition to the MK series.

Possible editors:

Face editor - change johnny cage's face to goro's lolo
eye editor - change the color of your ninjas or female, to give them that psychotic look
hair editor - change hair from different styles, height, color, etc.
Masks - put the lin kuei masks on new female characters
outfit - is there any questions here?
outfit #2 - have an empty coffin in the krpyt see what is in the outfit and make a price accordingly
weapons - where you can change a weapon or use an exsisting one
moves - a female with scorp's spear, rep's slide, ermac's body drop, etc.
choose Fighting style one - no comment
choose Fighting style two - no comment
combo editor - any ideas and i will give mine

It's not a bad idea, but it probably wont work, the problem being that all the characters sections, as in, let's say, arms, legs, torso and head would all have to be interchangable, not only that but texture wrapping would had to be created to be somewhat inter changable also, this leads to a very formulaic look to the thing!
Especially with the combos, have custom stances is possible but custom combos would not due to the animations allready existing!
The main problem is the models are premade, at best you could have one model that you could change the hieght and wieght of and possibly a costume, but only if all the costumes would fit on the same model, which would mean basically skin changes! It's be like a really bad tony hawks editor!
It's too hard and quite frankly it's a lot more interesting to have premade characters with full historys and reasons for stances and moves!
It's a nice idea, but just wont work, very well!

This is outstanding idea. I recently made a statement about a create-a-fighter in the MK6 wish list post. This is not a bad idea. Think of the more positive examples of creation engines like WWE Shut Your Mouth. The create options are really good allowing for almost anything to be made and interact with the game. I made old style Lady Deathstrike (with extended hands and fingers like claws), I made the Blob (a huge overweight villain), they interact fine with all the other fighters in the game. Another very good point is I made fighters they left out that I liked. Goldberg, Chyna, Sable, Rey Mysterio Jr., and some that haven't been in the WWE like Sonya Blade, Kitana, Storm, Spider Man, Britney Spears, Anna Nichole Smith (wouldn't you want to do a fatality on her?), Zangief, and Jubilee. The creation mode would allow you to put your favorite character who wasn't in the game to be there, or even create your own original fighter. WWE:SYM allows for up to 32 different characters to be created and stored. The roster for the game already has over 40 playable characters. You can even modify their normal moves, combos, and finishers. This option would make for endless replay value and new items like new hair styles, finishing/special/normal moves, and so on could be unlocked in coffins. This could be a very positive thing for MK. Just try and peek at the bright side.

I just thought of another great idea to go with the Kreat-A-Fighter idea. Conquest mode and created fighters are almost meant for each other. Take your created fighter on a quest to to become a better fighter, learning moves from deafeated oppenents, and gaining Koins to buy original moves from coffins. Yay me.

create-a-kombatant is a great idea, primarily in terms if you can choose what fighting styles to learn.

i talked to my friend today about that. he said it was a great idea but to complicated. i told him that i created frost using the engine they had. every thing but the flap in front, but the thing that set it apart was like sinister wrote. where in konquest mode you choose two styles to master. then go to a weapon store and buy a weapon with the koins you earn. the processor will make auto combos for you to master later. myself i would make an orange LinKuei Ninja and mix Tae Kwon Do with Hapkido (mainly for the fact i am a black belt in both) and choose either a staff or Two Katana's as my weapon. i would name him Ignyter. yes for those that will B!TC# it will be another clone but a kool one! for a pic pm me. but yes konquest and Kreate-A-Kombantant would work perfectly together. plus have someone who has that style teach you it. For me Scorpion would teach me Hapkido and who knows tae kwon do would also, weapon, etc. any comments that people dislike this is kool, and yes this isnt wrestling but you make wrestlers better than those of the actuall superstars so why not mk?? look at it that way.

like in deadly arts, dude, that cool! i'd like something with a wwe sort of costumision for how the guy looks. then add a freedom force kind of move costumison, and top it off with a ton of fatals and you got yourself a winner. at lest in my book, how 'bout the rest of ya?

Of course it's a great idea. And, also of course, it's not conceivable to have that in a fighting game, so forget about it.

Well, it's not exactly like that. A KAK would be possible, but not along those lines. I think that, if they were to do it, they would have to structure it more like a RPG and less like NBA Street/WWE. What I mean is you would choose a race, choose a face, choose an outfit amongst a choice from your species' suits and generic outfits (and, after you unlocked some stuff, you could choose other races' outfits as well, obviously). After that, you would choose 3 basic styles, and 2 special attacks. One of the fighting styles, the weapon style and the special attacks would have to belong to your race (until you unlocked something that would allow other choices). After that, you would name your character, either with a name of your choice or with a random name using his race's language (you would be able to randomise it again and again until finding a name you would like). Finally, you would choose a stage (yes, I think they should use the method of every character having their own stage). About the Fatality (the created characters would only have the right to use one Fatality), you would only be able to use it after you managed to pass a number of challenges in the Konquest mode. Also, in order not to have that many fighting styles and still having variety, along your Konquest, and upon beating each enemy (while on an expansive part of your journey, in which you would fight models randomly chosen from a list made by the MK Team), you could choose to copy three of his moves, either one from each fighting style or three from the same style (you could even copy a sword strike if your weapon was also a sword). Then, after you would complete Konquest Mode with your fighter, you would unlock the Slots Menu in the Fighter Selection Screen, and where you could choose any fighter you had gone through the Konquest Mode with.

Btw, the Konquest Mode would also be available for pre-made fighters (Scorpion, Cage, etc), but it would be used for story development, but with regular (maybe one-round) battles with the opponents they should battle (Scorpion should always have to battle Sub-Zero and Quan Chi, stuff like that).

sputnik7's idea is probably more conceivable. Taking a character on the Konquest as a method of growth in ability is more meaningful then to just learn combos and moves. I don’t know about the choice of fighting styles though. This will probably make the combos across styles too difficult to include.

Good idea, but how would their storyline be done? I think it would be cool if the game spoke their name at the end of a round/match "so and so wins," and it didn't sound like a Macintosh LOL

It would be a good idea... but then if their wasn't someone in the game that YOU liked then ratings would kinda go down on that... but like they said up their this isn't baseball LOL!...
But i would have fun if they had all the accessories... sounds like playing make over lol..

It's difficult to say if this should be put into the game or not, in my opinion atleast. I think it would be fun to play around with, but it would have to be built well and in depth to really have fun with it. It wasn't too long ago that I was playing a fighter on N64 (Hah, hah.) and it had the create-a-character mode but it wasn't in depth and you couldn't do much with it. It seemed like more of a distraction from the game than actually another fun option to use.
