First Off, welcome to the boards, and thanks for checking out Mortal Kombat Legacy IV

Now this particular combo isnt one you'd see in a match, but its possible if youre jumping over projectiles or unsafe attacks, but everything after the jumpkick is all you need to learn. anyway:

1) do the jumpkick as close to the ground as possible. by doing this will make you recover from it so that youre able to do non air kombat combos/moves after it.

1a) when the jumpkick is about to hit him, already start doing the input for the Spin. (Back Forward 4) Do the back forward part, then as soon as you land ( after the jumpkick connects, and you hit the ground ) do the 4,

Yes you can practice this offline, but it is not nearly the same as offline. You need to find someone to practice this with online. Preferably over a Mic so that they can tell you what youre doing wrong

2) After the Spin, make sure you are in Sun Bin. Kabals 1st stance, and follow the same type of steps that you did with the jumpkick. In other words:

2a) Jump as close to the ground as possible and press 33. Dont do it too close to the ground or else you wont have time to finish each air combo, 33 is the air combo you are seeing being done 3 times before the HookSwords part. Every Characters 33 is done different. Kabals has to be a little higher up then the others. The spot i always go by is right the middle of their body. thats how low you got to do the 33.

2b) 33's can go on forever, but a fair amount is 2 addtional other then the initial first one after the Spin. Time each 33 the same way as the first.

3) after the second additional 33, when you land, switch to Hookswords and do this combo: 1, 1, Back 1



thats as much as i can give you for now, ill be glad to come online to help you learn. Using these type of combos is the key to becoming the best. Not to brag or anything, but you are talking to him. So take my advice, and use it wisely.

i made a few mistakes in my post. the spin is actually Back Forward 4. i wrote Back Forward 3. ill edit that post right now. sorry about that.

Again, the combo is:

Sun Bin - Jumpkick, Spin, then jump, and do the air combo, 33, then jump again and do the air combo 33, then jump again, and do the air combo 33. land, then change stances to HookSwords and do 11 Back 1.

again, i will gladly come online to help you practice anything you need help with for a few minutes, just let me know. just be sure to follow the rules regarding 33's. (3 in a row) mostly the only time you should be using 33's is when the connection is poor and doesnt allow air cancels. not sure if you know what those are. but Kabal doesnt have any, so dont worry about it.

any other characters you need help with, please feel free to ask.

Thats cool Check. Im on an aweful lot though tommorow Im going to be busy. Im going to get my guitar and bass reset for the season (wood does weird stuff in diferent heats). Then I will be at work from 4 to 8. So I wont be on till late tommorow if I have any energy left. Its 4:38am here and I havent gone to bed yet. I have insomnia. but I need to work it out offline first so Im not completely stupid when I go online with it. My other mains are Kano and Dairu. I mix in Kitana, Baraka, Bo, and sometimes the randomizer. I do wish there was a way to random and take boss charectors out of the selection. Anyway lets get Kabal in shape then worry about the others.

very cool, theres no rush, ill be around for a few more months, so we got time.

ive been sick for the past week and a half. i think im finally starting to get better. but perhaps sometime tommorow night.

you can try offline, but im telling you. it barely works there. its alot harder. it works everytime online. thats the real way to learn it.

Kano is good. his 33 combos are very easy to do, but he lacks the setup for it. in other words, his popups arent that good. but hes ok

dairou is great. not really a character that it comes into play with. but he is great, he just lacks range and its very easy to space vs him due to his lack of it.

Kitana is very good. her combos are strong, but like kano, she lacks the setup for it. besides her fan lift. good 50% combos without a doubt though. her throw game is awesome

baraka is good in the right hands. theres really no need to worry about air combos with him. but ill help you out with them. 112 in silat is his only known setup for 33. damage can do abuot 40% if i recall correctly.

bo is awesome. 3 in weapon is too good. its basically impossible to get near him because of it. his 24 in weapon gives a free hit afterwards. meaning they cant block the next attack, so it gives a free combo afterwards. his damage is around 50% like everyone else.

i love random, its all i do, but its annoying to land on bosses/KAK. i actually enjoy fighting both. i like the challenge. with 60 characters, random is the way to go.

Kabal is definitly the best choice of them. stick with him, he is a monster. if you catch someone in the air with his spin, his air combos will do about 60% if i recall correctly.

looking forward to it ; ) i dont get a chance to practice much anymore. i can also record any combos you would like for personal pleasure, not a problem.
