Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Scorpion??!!--WTF!!
I don't know where I should put this, so I decided to just put it here(sorry if I put this in the wrong place, or if this has already been posted) I just got this from GameFAQS.com in the XBOX general message boards:

after much speculation and after a much successful start out the MK series seemed to have redeemed themselves with Deadly Alliance. Back when the game hit stores in fall of 02' the game immediately became a blockbuster hit, thus beginning the new beginning of Midway's long crappy games now history. But what do we have here? If you all remember Mortal Kombat Mythologies featuring one of the most popular characters of the MK franchise (back before he turned into Gramps) Sub Zero. But you also may remember the game as having terrible controls, poor outdated graphics, weak gameplay and absolutely no story at all. Well don't fear here folks, this Mythologies just might be what you have always expected. After a Midway representative came on screen (and one of the main programmers behind Psi-Ops and MK: Deception not to mention its predecessor) he currently announced that Midway is in fact working on another Mythlogies game but it is far from what the first Mythologies had to offer Ed Boon had stated "we knew of Mythologies's faults and we decided not to re-open the vaults for an MK spin off because it just never worked right, but to fix something thats incredibly broken we have to completely rework everything. From the gameplay engine and up. That's where Scorpion comes on screen." Yes that's right folks, the supposedly new Myth game is going to be based on the number one bad ass ninja that is Scorpion and just how he came to be Scorpion. "We are striving to do what's best for Scorpion and we will not make the same mistakes that we did with the first Mythologies game or even MK Special Forces. We are striving to do a Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden approach to Scorpion version of how hell was unleashed upon him" says Boon. Sound interesting enough? It is, tentively titled "Scorpion Chronicles" Mythologies may just well reset the standards for what an action game should be. This is all judging upon what Boon said and of course how Midway has been slapping themselves over their heads and releasing good games lately. Got something to say? Use our forums to express your opinion, until then CIAO!

Well...this sounds pretty good. I don't know if this is real or not, but take it for what it's worth.

That would be nice, but allow me to point out the holes in this little tidbit.
Key Word: RUMOR
Internet definition of RUMOR: A desperate, made-up fantasy by idiot fanboys who either 'has a friend who knows someone who works for soandso company', heard it from 'a guy at school', read something the wrong way, saw something and completely mistook it for something else, or simply pulled it out of his ass.
A midway guy 'came on screen'. What...is there a magical screen that this guy can only see? Whenver the word 'rumor' is attached to something on the internet, its best to just ignore it.

Man, I hate when people bring up rumors that I hope are true.
As interesting as this is, it does not relate to MK: Deception. You should repost your thread in the General Discussion forum.
