i read the post about the game ruining your life but the part about girlfriends is kinda funny, if i ever get my girlfriend to play any video game other than crash banicoot she cant stand the fighting ones , unless i let her beat me at tekken, but when i played MKDA its all over. she dont like all t he blood. shes wierd, ,like if im waitng for her to come over here, and im playing MKDA she'll take her sweet ass time to drive over but when she gets here and im just finishing an arcarde mode she just gets all pissy, i was just wonderin from those who have gfs or bfs ( for the ladies) if they ever have weird issues with MK or video games in particular??

Never had a girlfriend, but it is a known fact that MK and girls don't mix...with a few exceptions, of course.

My Ex girlfriend was great at playing computer games. I never played her at DA, as wed spilt up but she used to whip my ass on the PS1 and older machines which I have on MK1 using Sonya and MK4. not all the time, but she sure was good.

Actually both my fiance and my daughter and most of my female friends love MK games. I won't have a lack of opponents when MKD comes out.

My girlfriend rocks. She'll play DA with me whenever I want to. Not to mention other games on my Xbox/PS2.

I just recently got back with my girl of over 5 years. SHe likes games but not this one. I'm cutting down on my game playing cause she didn't like how far I took it. She thinks having over 100 games is bad.. even though I know a lot of people who have many more. Either way, I told her I'm gonna cut down (don't have time for em all anyway) but I made sure that she knows that if a Mortal Kombat, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo or any of Nintendo's big name games comes out, she's just gonna have to deal with it.

a close friend i had(i mean as a friend), used to play gta with me, MAN she was sick. everytime she drove over a person, she was laughing like hell. i had to laugh to, coz she has the funniest voice when she laughs. but DAMN!

I love my gf too Bezou, and compromises can be made sometimes (that was not to be disrespectful to you as you are the one I respect most on these forums).
I will likely marry this girl, and she does like her video games from time time (mario tennis, lol).
To all the guys on this site who love their gfs, I say the best of luck to you all. As great as MKD will be, make sure that you put your girls first, because they probably love you too.
Plus, if you get rid of them, it'll be a long wait till MK7! lol!

My gf hates it, the only fighting game she will play is Soul Calibur II. I already asked her to play Deception with me when it comes out but she said there is NO way she will ever play it or even watch me play it.sad One of my older sisters loves Mortal Kombat, and can't wait to play it.

I don't have a problem. In fact, I force myself to not mention Mortal Kombat at all to my girlfriend. The only things I say that refer to MK around her was once when she was over here and I was playing against her with Deadly Alliance. I was Kenshi. She was Li Mei. And I said the line all men should know; "You are so much better looking than her!" LMAO!!

My wife likes to play occasionally. Especially if she's had a bad day. She gets to take out some frustration.
And when she doesn't play, she doesn't mind watching me fight. I think the first time she saw a fatality she about spazzed out. She thought it was great, and has even asked about when this Deception is coming out.

my girlfriend cant really get into mk. she had no chance with deadly alliance. and i thought asians where good with games. hehehe joking. but since deception has puzzle kombat she wants to play it too and thats fine with me so long as she hog the game.

i just moved, switched schools, so i'm trying to get a new GF. there's one i'm already thinking bout asking out. as for playing MK with my gf, i don't play video games with my gfs unless we get really close and spend a lot of time in my house.
