How in the world Did MKDA resemble Mortal Kombat one? The only resemblence I saw was the Test Your Might mini game.

What I think he's is getting at...

DA is to MKI - Because DA was a revolutionary 3-d engine that brought forth many new ideas and concepts and a completely NEW engine (sort of like MKI)

Deception is to MKII - Reworks the old engine, in this case DA (MKII revamped MKI) with expanded gameplay, tweaked speed and graphics, more characters, multiple fatalities, etc...

MK7 (looking too much into it) Midway might think we are "bored" with the "traditional" 3-d DA engine and might tweak it too much with a "run" button and animalities...

Thats exactly what I mean. LOL

Another point is that MKDA didn't have a definative bad guy. You had the Deadly Alliance, but they seemed to be shadow evils. The true evil being was mentioned and referred to, but we never came in contact with them.

Deception looks to improve from MKDA in every way (or almost every way). The true evil will be the main force to deal with.

MK7 could feature the return of an evil, and the second assault of a frustrated one. Many characters could be culled off, while others just lurking, and legions released to join the game in a final battle.

MK7 will most likely take place in earth again. Like it did in Mk3.

MK 1 ressembles MKDA because all the character from MK1 were in MKDA well not Kang.

I know that I am going out on a limb here, but I thought that MK3 was the best of MK1-MK4. I mean there was just so much stuff in it!! Anyways I know what he is talking about saying that MKDA is like MK1 and MKD is like MKII and I totaly agree with you.

I never thought about it that way. But your right, MK1 and MKDA do kind of resemble each other a little bit.

Seeing as this is an MK6 forum, I am closing this thread. Let's wait till MK:Deception is out before we start getting all into MK7!
